yesTried it a while ago, it is down.
That has revealed a new threat to the "Information Age", if a physical attack is actually the case here. Cyber attacks can steal and/or destroy software and data but if the IT managers are doing their jobs they can be blocked or, at the worst, restored from backups with minimal loses and delays. But attacking and destroying or damaging data centres is a different matter and the effects can last much longer (days, weeks, months). Here in Sydney about 30 data centers have been built, are under construction or planned.
There should be offsite backups or redundancies that can take over in this kind of situation. When I worked in IT we used to fly to Sunguard in Philadelphia with backup tapes and we had two and a half days to restore the entire corporate IT structure. We weren't near the size of Amazon (but we were Fortune 500), and they should have built-in redundancy at separate locations.but if the IT managers are doing their jobs
Just tried again with no success.
soon hope work
Hopefully, the server will get resolved soon.
Hey, is it just me or is everything now working? We weren't near the size of Amazon
Try this:-I'm still having the same exact problem, it won't let me log in.
The following constitute a violation of the Code of Conduct of the Trainz Forum:ive finally been able to login everywhere, i think amazon rerouted their destroyed servers, thanks orange dictator for your pointless war
I'm not sure if you are aware of the COC on the forum, but, might I give you a piece of advice, if you want to avoid a warning and/or a ban, I'd eliminate the last part of your post, this is about a railroad game and trains, not a place for something like that in your post, if I were you, I'd be more careful.ive finally been able to login everywhere, i think amazon rerouted their destroyed servers, thanks orange dictator for your pointless wa
I think he may have been referring to the fight between two railroad operators in the town of Orange here in NSW?I'd eliminate the last part of your post
