Morning Jango,
Yes I remember in my former life long long time ago before EU actually in the time of the EGKS(Europeaische Gemeinschaft fuer Kohle und Stahl) and the time of the Benelux it was already a given rule that anywhere not only in Italy you needed almost a permit for a dog house in your back yard.
A little envelope did many times the job to get things signed and paperwork done or exempt granted.
Thailand is a copy of EU 100 years ago especially when living in the country side there is nothing else than inviting the notables to a party for a good meal and drink, no paper work no permits no anything else...(so far).
On the island its a different story it is all National Park and the sea too so there our land is an island on an island but buildings already there on and near the water so no permits needed.
The house we built in the NE a civil engineer (thai) signs my design of the house and makes a thai drawing of an already perfect made 3D house design and sections, drawings etc.
Haha that was my first encounter with a different culture some 6 years ago a CAD designed house and BOM,BOQ again drawn on a piece of paper by the local thai AE, now i can laugh/smile about it back than it was a big insult to me.
Well on your next comment it is now hard to keep a few secrets till my next release.
On the other hand posting pictures of my progress almost every week is not hiding in my dungeon either and brewing new stuff.
At this moment I have accumulated well over 2.000 new objects which for a part are used in the next to release Laggan Sub and later on in the other subs to finish.
Most are getting ready to be used when time is there for them, so I have a vast choice of buildings etc to choose from in great variations, look and feel.
Long time ago I said to you in a private email that we both would be a good team with same background, hobby and discipline in our actions.
Now we know you cover the USA and mainly the Canadian territory and that looks fine.
Maybe some day our routes meet at the border and we can run iportals to each other.
See you and me are different than many others in the Sim world, (in my eyes) we are not competition at all, we cover different territories and slightly different apporach of How to'szzz and have our own distinctive signature!
Jango I sincerely wish you a great launch and continuation of your Donner Pass route and for sure many trainzers will happily roam and gaze on it.:mop:
At this moment it is my intention to take some more time to get my WIP more detailed left and right and launch it when the dust settles around yours and people had time to save a few hamburgers/beers for my Laggan sub.:hehe:
happy holildays cont'd
Roy
