Canadian Rocky Mountains 2011

Great work! this route looks SO detailed!

Does it work in Trainz 2010 or does it require assets built-in to 2012?

If it works in 2010, I will buy and download as soon as the webpage loads!

Thanks for the post, request dear Spanderson!
Well technically most if it should work on 2010 but the question is not will it work when have other options.
Most of it was created on 2006,2009,2010 and finally 2012 incl the speedtrees not talking yet about the built-in TS12 objects, i have to check the current status.
However instead of trying to figure out how it might run on an older version why not try tunderstand what TS12 could mean for you!
My experience is over the more than 8 years of trainz experience in all depths 2006 was a nice release till TS12 showed up even with its typical bugs and flaws its the best ever version and most stabil one I have used.
I would never finalised my routes if 2010 version was still in the running as I consider that as one of the worst to work with.
So pragmatic thinking tells me to advice you for your benefit of wrong in experience and joy of trainz buy a discounted version of TS12 and spent the 20 some usd on that one is worth every penny of it I guarantee!!
My stuff works the best on TS12 and no worry hassle on this and that backwards compatible. It installs flawless no looking for missing kuids etc.
Hope this make sense and check what I have said and talk to fellow trainzers the will confirm TS12 is the way to go.

Let me know what you think and ask when you need more info.

Have a great weekend

Thanks for checking, I would buy TS12 if I could, seems way better than what I have. However, I am currently using a mac right now so I cannot get the new version :'( I would still buy the route if only a few trees were missing and it still looked decent enough to play. If half the trees and some important textures were missing so the grid showed through, that might be a different story. Thanks again for the help, I really appreciate it.

Thanks for help. Hope it works!

I have done some research and I now know there is no TS12 for Mac. :( They sometimes call it TS12 but it is really just a port of TS2010. I wish they would make a new Mac version but by the time they port 2012 to mac it will probably be 2014 and a new version will be out:(

Well,
This seems to solve the case!
Since all Mac users run the CPR Mountain Sub without a problem than the current Mac version you have should do the job too.

Roy

Allright! Thanks for the help, I can't wait to start running 130-car freight trains over Rogers Pass! :)

Driving through Golden

The Canadian has reached Golden, BC and is driving through on it's way eastward.

The Dome car as always is spectacular to look at.

It is amazing how real the reflection looks on the windows at the back of the Dome car. Maybe these are "real" screenshots after all.

The Dome car sure looks spectacular from the back, doesn't it (or as we Canuks say, eh?)? Yes we really do say "eh" at the end of sentences on a regular basis.
