Canadian Rocky Mountains 2011

Mc Donald tunnel East and Mnt Shaughnessy tunnel

What we like most with the snow close to the tracks is it looks like remnants of dirty old snow left from the snowplows/rotary maintenance!!!

Great work like always but... bnsf50 have some totaly good stuff for MBC 2010, which does includes the correct bridges and tunnels designs :) like the macdonald tunnel, the bridges and all :p its free and on the DLS

I agree, very well done, and as usual, great attention to detail.

steep grades

@ Cabuse thanks for the kind help and info. No i did not know BNSF50 made this and I dl them to see if they fit but not change the tunnels now as the spline bug on tunnels is the last one i want to wake up and the release is frozen so for the next update any changes. The bridge might be no problem but tunnels in mountains that high and big you have more then hands full to get track laid and make it work so...............
@Euphod thanks for sharing same thought!
@Stouhm hang in there a few more picts to finish the snow mania of mine.... I promise to post mixed:)

A very special thanks to BNSF50 and Cabuse

Thank you Bnsf50 for these marvels although the tunnels is for a later update but the bridges Shaughnessy is truly a big improvement!

My Pleasure guys :)

Excellent stuff Roy. Truly panoramic stuff!

Just out of curiosity, did/does VIA use these tracks?

Looking forward to more amazing shots. :)

Gisa ^^

GISA we fully agree truly panoramic Canada

Thank you Gisa for the nice words and encouragement!
Well the track i discussed in length long time ago with Andy (Dermmy) and his opinion on the usage of really prototypical track is or should not be that narrow minded as few or no track fit that purpose yet.
I use Oleg's 1435mmm for the simple and straightforward reason it has very nice bolted details good textures and the switches are doing the job perfectly for me. Even though the N3V nasty spline bug harassed me more than asked for still like his stuff very much and on top he is a real good guy too.

have a great sunday

I think WCL knows too were to find them they must be at least from 2006 even TRS2004 version if I am not mistaken.;)
We hope this answers your question.

Cripes - I feel cold, desolate and lonely just looking at those screens!

:)
You will feel much better when the route is released...sitting in a diesels cab with the heater on or in a steamers cosy cab, feet up , coffee and enjoying the 'cool' scenery :)

a question please ( I am not into routes yet ) - are snow covered routes heavier on the frame rates in a game , all that snow on top of the existing scenery ?
