Greetings, ladies and gentlemen,

I've been a modder and a developer for about 20 years, both professionally and as a hobby. My latest personal project is this CP GP9u. It's been many years since I imported content into Trainz, at least since 2008, and a lot has changed, so I'm wondering if anyone with more experience than me would be willing to team up to import/rig etc. this model for the latest version. It's been a labour of love.

200,000 polys is a bit much. Not even most steamers in this sim have that many. For a diesel, i'd assume around 75,000 is the most you'd want to use, and even that seems generous. So i'd suggest reducing the poly count before trying to get it in-game.

Some of us have hardware that can handle that much poly without an issue. He could still try, and find out the results after.

Model looks great to me - beautifully detailed and realistic.
Well done Sigma-6!
Welcome to the forums and we look forward to seeing more of your 'labour of love'.

That looks stunning. The bogey -- wonderful detail and texturing.

You guys with the knowledge - give him some help getting it into the game. I just can't wait to use it.
