Can you guess this train?

Pretty boring.
I would have expected something of the calibre of the Blue Comet or Duchess but instead we get a shunter, there are plenty like this on the DLS.
I am a fan of Auran's DLC but I guess I'll give this one a miss.

Disappointed

Ken

PS This was not intended as an insult to any third party creator, the point I was making was that in my opinion Auran should stick to issuing Iconic train sets not workhorse locomotives.

I don't understand why you would be 'Disappointed'(sic) about having 'workhorse locomotives' populate any given layout or scenario.
do you expect the Blue Comet to do all the slow freight work? We already have Iconic train sets in abundance as DLC, but not much that can give a layout a sense of realism.
What is already available are items that have been made by people that have little time left over from their busy days and dont have the resouces that aurans official channels can muster.
The 3rd party creations can be very good at times, but they are uncommon as there is almost always a lack of detail, the lighting isn't right or everything looks almost cartoonish.

Your opinions are as valid as any one elses, but to me, your general attitude comes off as offensive. you say "pretty boring"? i say, stop looking at the mirror.. contribute constructivly or STFU.

I think you may have misunderstood my comments. They were aimed at N3V. Pretty boring referred to the fact that N3V with all their resources issued a sole shunter, if they had offered the shunter together with some assorted goods wagons for say $24.95 I would certainly had bought them and would not have posted here.

You may not be aware that tmz06003 has already issued freeware versions of the BR class14 I have them all and they are very good.

I totally agree that the freeware creators do not have the time and resources and that is why I said about N3V issuing Iconic trains. Not many freeware creators would have issued the Blue Comet complete with matching carriages or the Duchess with two sets of carriages.

Please remember that this is a Forum for comments and a free interchange of ideas and there is a code of conduct which needs to be complied with.
