Can someone do me a favor?

I have started two threads in two different forums to get an answer to a problem with an unknown spline. Could someone who has the Midwest Grain 3.0 route please look at the trackside grass/weed splines on the NEW sections of the route and identify them for me? They are missing on my route. I have downloaded and RE-downloaded all the content, done QDR and just now EDR and still no splines. I would not mind putting in some other ones, only there are these big-ass white lines and circles all over the area !
If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

I think those "big-ass white lines and circles" are splines, they can be found in any route in TS12
But is there any need to swear ? they are "white lines and circles", no need for the other reference.

No duh. Did you read the entire post? The splines in question are showing up on my route as the aforementioned "big ass white lines and circles". I am trying to identify them so that I can find them and get them.

Three posts on three separate forums and not a single reply of help? Does anyone out there have the Midwest Grain 3.0 route that can help me identify these trackside grass/weed splines?

Yes. There are 19 unknown dependencies: ALL are Pofig. Not all of which are found on his website. If I could get someone to go into Surveyor with "show kuid in surveyor" checked and get me the kuid number, that would help tremendously .

If someone would go into the route at the Coldwater station, go directly NORTH to the edge of the water, it looks like there are only TWO grass/weed splines there. One of them is <kuid2:328583:1057:1>, I need to know what the other one is.

I could live without that particular spline if not for the fact that is still shows in DRIVER as white llines and circles. If not for that fact, I would put another one in its place.

I show JVC#(Gr2) Grass B,<kuid2:328583:20266:1>. Unless I'm mistaken this is payware. There seems to be a freeware version, JVC#(Gr2) Grass B,<kuid:328583:20266>, so my guess is that's what you're looking for. When I installed the payware it made the freeware obsolete, so Trainz is using it on my install of MWG.

Thanks for the reply, Rick. My FREEWARE version only lists 3 kuids of JVC Grass. NONE of them are the kuid that you listed. I wonder what the deal is? I have emailed JR Support to see if they can shed some light on this.

I just found it too. :20266> shows as Obsolete and :20266:1> shows as Faulty. I see an error message: The tag 'image' in '0' points to a nonexistent file: 'screenshot.jpg'

Any idea how to fix this?

Open it for edit in Explorer and see if there's a screenshot file. Mine is screenshot.tga not jpg. If it's there, just change the config file to match.

EDIT: I just noticed that I don't have an image in CM and opened the screenshot.tga file. It's blank. I may very well have "fixed" it by just sticking in a blank image.

I opened for edit in Explorer several other JVC grasses and see a config file AND a screenshot.jpg file. I DO NOT see a screenshot.jpg file in the faulty asset.

OK. You should also have a file called JVC#(Gr2) Mesh lib. I,<kuid2:328583:20259:1>. It does have a screenshot.jpg file so just copy it into the directory for <kuid2:328583:20266:1>. That should do the trick.

The Faulty grass shows as Payware in the CM Asset details. The Obsolete one will NOT open in Explorer. Any way to take another .jpg from a similar grass and put it into that config file?

Okay. I have never done this before. Can you walk me thru it? I have the Mesh lib.I file open for edit and see the screenshot file. What now?

I went in and used COPY and PASTE to grab the screenshot from the Mesh Library and pasted it into the file. Closed and hit Commit. Still have the white lines etc.
What did I do wrong?
