Still pretty out of loop with TRS 12 since leaving after 2004 but so far ive only had TPR routes and the built in ones to use and if anyone can point me in the direction of some more fun ones that would be awsome! My system can handle almost anything and i dont mind paying if need be i just need some good quality routes to run.

But isn't this supposed to be serious?

" ... fun ones ... ."

Fun? Hey, isn't this supposed to be a serious pastime?

But if you do want some fun, maybe take a look at these videos to see if they interest you (best viewed full screen and HD):

If these types of route do appeal to you, search the Download Station using "philskene" as the author. There are sessions for the routes too. Just make sure you get the TS12 versions.

Tell me if this helps.

Mike,

I am normally not to fast on recommend myself or stuff in the pipeline but look at what people have to say and see for yourself what is coming soon on the trainz shelves probably one of the finest and largest prototypical routes ever released over the years if i my say myself and tapping my shoulders:phttp://forums.auran.com/trainz/show...ns-2011&p=973822&highlight=joosten#post973822 or my facebook updates http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001778243253.

Ning confirmed i can tap my shoulder for my gigantic work and achievement so far:hehe:

Anyone oppose this step forward and motivate your critisism or...........

regards and good hunting

Roy:)

Joosten's route will be a cracker, he's only got 25 km to go I think.
I run the WM&B&O mega route a lot, end to end 300 miles so I lost track of what was going on. From portal 19+20+22-portal fairmont E+W 200 miles or portals 3E+W to portal clarksberg E+W 103 miles.
It's ok in 2010 native mode so will be fine in 2012, plenty of industries if you want to use them or just run end to end via the portals. Beware there are 2 hills you will need bankers, at rowlesberg for cranberry and keyser yard for 17 mile hill. It can take over an hour on 17 mile (I've altered/lowered the max accel on the locos) so you have to divert everyone else onto the other line and give them bankers so's not to hold the next train up.
Portals emit at 45 min intervals.

Fran, thanks for the recommending the WM & B&O Mega Route Native Mode. It runs well in 2010 and 2012.

Mike, if you're interested in the route, click on my sig below to go to the Glenwood Shops site where you can find it. You'll also find three native mode videos that will give you an idea of what the route is like.

I just want to add that the WM & B&O mega route is excellent; it's very enjoyable and you have tons of choice with regards to short hauls to long drives through some amazing country-- very much well worth downloading! Any of Phiul Skene's works are really enjoyable too. I also enjoy the Montana Rail Link for mp, and if you are curious about Euro rail, then the Niddertalbahn 2012 series is really nice. Those are some of my favs for what its worth :)
