Can a Visa Gift Card be used to buy JR DLC?

My cousin blocked JR and PayPal on my debit card, it’s a special card that he controls and can block stuff. How can I buy JR stuff with a non debit or credit card like a prepaid card? Those gift cards don’t work online sometimes because they are a fraud risk and they won’t work outside of the US. What about prepaid cards like greendot where you get a card in the mail in your name? I can buy one in a grocery store or drug store and put a low amount on it. I don’t want to bug my cousin to lift the block, he didn’t block the N3V site though. I could use the debit card of the man who lives with my brother and I because it’s a normal card with no blocks on it. I don’t buy JR stuff very often. We have a trust and are special needs and our mom passed away a few years ago in the hospital and her sister’s son is managing our bank and stuff. We had a trust with his dad who passed away less than a year after our mom to strokes. His dad was in money management and had his own company with a partner for several years, his partner continued the business. I just want to bypass my cousin and buy JR stuff once in a while.

Because you’re in a special‑needs trust, your cousin is legally required to block certain spending, so bypassing him could cause problems for both of you.

The easiest option is to use the debit card of the person you live with (with their permission) and reimburse them. JR accepts normal debit cards without issues.

If you want your own payment method, reloadable prepaid cards like Green Dot, Netspend, or PayPal Prepaid usually work because they have your name on them and support online verification. Just avoid “gift cards,” because JR’s processor blocks most of those.

Another option is to ask your cousin to whitelist JointedRail specifically instead of lifting the whole block.

And if the item you want is sold on the N3V store, you can buy it there since that site isn’t blocked.
