Broken/Wrecked Objects

I am building a destroyed / wrecked / rioted town... Anyone Know of Wrecked or Vandalised Houses, shops or Broken power lines or trees to make it realistic...??

Also, I need decent traffic lights... Links Please

No problem. THis is the right place for this, as this is "Surveyors, Operators & Engineers" and creating a route takes place in Surveyor.

But yes I too want to know where to get those objects! :udrool: I do know that I have a wrecked house in TRS2006, not sure if it is built-in or not. Also, do you think that one day the layout could become avaible for download?

maybe Im still basically practicing building roads, railways and buildings.. I cant believe << sorry I cant spell.. no one has ever built smashed/broken/wrecked buildings Hmmm...

Search the DLS with keywords like abandon, abandoned, derelict, disused and maybe even graffiti. Old might get quite a lot of hits too, but it's less specific (eg. a lot of 'old west' stuff is not really derelict).

I know David Drake (dmdrake) and a few others have made factories and houses with those words in their titles. I also recall someone made some 'paste on' graffiti, just planes with graffiti art on them that you can put against walls to give them an abandoned look.

TaFweb did a house in various stages of decay.

However, I don't think there is a lot of really wrecked buildings to be found, just slightly dirty ones.

Nice I too have been working on a ghost town of sorts I searched "Rusty" in the DLS and got some cars wrecked.

tyvm guys.. this stuff is perfect! All I need now is broken, snapped, bent power lines? And what about shops.. with Broken windows, graffiti and trashed vehicles?

Why don't you just gather up the stuff you need, then....
a) put them through CCP
b) take your anger out on them the next time CMP crashes on you

... either way, they'll be broken allright :hehe:
