Broadgauge Routes.

ANY route developed (and there are 4 to my knowledge) that uses my track, may include my track as part of the pack. As most (if not all BG items are my creation) then one assumes that BG track will only be required for BG items.

I am not trying to advertise with my posts, but this thread was about BG so until someone creates locos/rolling stock for BG, then I am the only source, therefore one assumes that I should post here to reply.

Thank you. That sounds very reasonable. I look forward to seeing the other routes on the DLS shortly especially as I have an interest in Brunnel's broad gauge.

Trainz Carriage & Wagon Works UK is in the process of producing some BG coaches diagrams E27 & E33 to start with others in mind. These will be basically our SG coaches regauged.

GWR Broad Gauge layouts

I'm working on a new Broadgauge Layout in Trainz2004, the track isn't a problem except when it comes to crossing rivers etc. Most bridges have a 'fixed' length of Standard track on them, and it would look odd and very unrealistic to join this ith the Broadgauge track.
The method I have used to get over this anomaly, is to use the Disused Bridges that have no fixed track. Lay your bridge as normal, then slide the track over them. Once joined, adjust the height of both bridge and track until it's in the correct posistion. Believe me, it works just fine.
Hi Seward.
I wondered what progress you had made in the intervening years.I'm currently constructing a Broad Gauge route from Swindon to Bristol set in the era 1860.Great fun having used all the tricks to accomodate the new track etc. I'm based in Chippenham Wilts so have easy access to the Road.
Kind Regards.Trelawney

I have 45 different broad gauge (7 ft 1/4 in) broad gauge arched spans on the DLS. They are fixed length tho. If you have a photo or drawing I can make you a BG bridge spline.

I also have 14 broad gauge turntables on the DLS as well.
