British loco classes

Right I'm wondering if anyone has a good list of British locos classes. I want to download most of them and I'm not sure how many different classes there are. Thanks in advance

I think someone tried to compile a similar list for steam, but it is not as comprehensive.

there are certainly many british loco classes on DL but i find you just enter say "class 31" in will maybe find only 1 or two,but try things like br the livery your after it can in other area find them also there are too many classes of certainly diesel and electric loco's to mention.tf

Why not try www.answers.com and type in british rail class (class number here)
