Brisbane CityTrain - 800x600 pixels

i like your shots and i would really love to get my hands on some of the locos that you guys have there

and i hope that everyone is liking my shots

I believe you should keep Mayne as it is, and to answer your question, I have only built from Toowoomba to Oakey at the moment, I have been slowed down a lot by real world things and It probably will be a lot longer before I have aything solid to even show off before I can release the route itself. Toowoomba itself needs a lot of work still, as I am trying to keep the route very realistic, and I have no expereince in gmax.

im talking the mayne marshaling, should it be as it was or as it is now with 6 tracks

@ jniel29 are you working to be just hort of rosewood so that the routes can be linked up?

Raising Steam

Hi Cricket,

Well, we reckon to restore Mayne Marshaling to its former glory, We all go past here on the way to school and I do wounder what QR has done to the place to make it so run-down. Here is something we have been working on; A QR Steph Valve Gear PB15; all for the SCL & Brisbane Suburban Projects. Fitted with destination-boards & steam effects+ custom bogey. Anoher few PB's will feature different style of chimney. {one was fitted with center headlight, so that will be on our list}

that ferny line is mine cause thats the line i live on and i asked if i could do it first

Awesome, I could do the Ipswich Line via Corinda & also Over The Albert Bridge at Indro. I always took the train for my AFL games at Ipswich, when I was in year 6, [ that when I moved from Adelaide]

P.S I might ask Jerker to make a few items for the Gabba Depot, like the unique raised turntable, if you want to my to ask him anything else just email me. I might start to add the tramlines

Kind Regards
Michael G.

All
Roma St module and Ferny Grove Module are very close to release. Expected they will be released within the next 4-6 weeks. Ipswich line is about 85% complete. Wooloowin Module and Pinkenba line is about 75% complete. Shorncliffe module is about 75% and the Petrie module is about 60% complete and a short section of the south side is about 60% complete.

Heh, I remember doing those locos. Made a mistake with the Bronco livery on the right hand side.:o

oh and if mayne marshaling is to go back to its former glory i need photos of when it had its track down because some of the track has been ripped up so at this moment im building it to what its like now

Hey everyone.

Now let's just hold everything up here while I give out this new bit of breaking news.

I've received a PM from AJC, who lives on the Cleveland line at Wynnum, and is eager to help with the section from Nambour to Gympie (where I didn't know CityTrain even went that far....) and can probably help with Cleveland in that case.:)

So, with Cricketstar on the central part, myself doing the southern end and AJC in the north, this will be a quicker job all round.

Any volunteers who happen to live along the Ipswich, Shorncliffe or Ferny Grove lines would be well appreciated.

Happy Trainzing,;)
Scott.

so we will have michael G and the QGR team working on the modern ipswich and me working on ferny grove after i have finished what i have ordered and if no one puts there hand up for shorcliffe i will give it a go
