Brisbane CityTrain - 800x600 pixels

Brisbane 1954

Hello' Guys

Here is some screenshots of my backtracked Brisbane City Train route; when it was called the Q.G.R Brisbane Suburban Network [but i would really would love to so see the Ferny Grove line becuase I take the train to Mitchelton and I know the station master very well]. The era is 1949 to 1960. Now some screenshots of my W.I.P;

Mayne Junction, 1954

South Brisbane, 1949. When that station was the end of the Southside Network and the iconic 1897 Victoria Bridge.

So there you have to so far, and since there is a lot of Woodern Stations on the City Train route; you could Ask Willem2 to make some stations for the route, just a bit of a suggestion. I would love to have my 'home' station of Ascot.

QGR Brisbane Suburban Network 1957

Good Afternoon, everyone.

Here is some shots of the back-dated City Train route, and I had to spend hours playing with the trackwork. It is all worth working on the QGR Brisbane Suburban Network 1950's;

UPDATE

ok so i only have 19 roads left to do in the Mayne yard, which i am hoping should be finished by the end of the day then next yard is normanby then after that Mayne prep

Cheers,
Jake

P.S. Michael you need to replace the switch levers from the points motors because im pretty sure they weren't around in the steam era

The Down 10:46 Sth Brisbane to Lota

Hello Scot,

I will do around Central becuase I recall they had interlocking installed around 1909 but removed with the Central Roof.

P.S Have not touched my route yet...busy trying to kill the bugs with getting the D17 into trainz.

Cheers

I now have the dem up to Nambour, all the other sections should have my part of the work done quicket because there is less big yards except for the gold coast with acacia ridge

The hamilton cold stores are done

Cheers,
Jake

Hey everyone.

Now let's just hold everything up here while I give out this new bit of breaking news.

I've received a PM from AJC, who lives on the Cleveland line at Wynnum, and is eager to help with the section from Nambour to Gympie (where I didn't know CityTrain even went that far....) and can probably help with Cleveland in that case.:)

So, with Cricketstar on the central part, myself doing the southern end and AJC in the north, this will be a quicker job all round.

Any volunteers who happen to live along the Ipswich, Shorncliffe or Ferny Grove lines would be well appreciated.:cool:

Happy Trainzing,;)
Scott.

i wouldn't mind doing the other lines but a question for all people that have interest in this route would you want mayne prep like it is now or with a full count of tracks including the ones that are now redundant

From the Commissioners Office

Hey Gentlemen,

Michael G is currently away, so I am taking over Q.G.R operations for a while so as Q.G.R Assistant Commissioner; John Andrew-Phillips. Hi Everyone :wave:

On Wednesday afternoon just after school at my house, Michael, myself & our Q.G.R board. We have decided to rebuilt the 1889 SCL in DEM, due to it becoming corrupted after a updates and will not export to the non-corrupted trainz. Could it be possible if you could send me the DEM for the Gold Coast Line and we could meet up at Beenleigh.

George: Keep Mayne as it becuase it looks really good

Just a few screenshots from my friend Tom Adams {QGR Brisbane & District Officer}; while working on the QGR Brisbane Suburban 50's.
