Bridgehampton Metro - UK Light Rail / Modern Tramway in Progress

OK, perhaps I could have said it clearer in my previous post, but...

Bridgehampton Metro South 2

Beta Testers Wanted Now!

TS2010 and/or TS12

It's actually ready...

Thanks for the interest guys!

Joe_T and H222, your copies are on the way, Bearcat @ i_reuven, can you PM me an e-mail address?

Thanks,

Paul

p.s. Any more? I don't mind sending a few more Betas out.

Thanks Paul,

I get one missing dependency, kuid:134105:1613, which is yours, and the faulty: Multilevel Parking Lot 01 - which I've tried to fix, unsuccessfully.

Apart from that, all assets are on the DLS or already ingame, but I have all of Nekolai75's assets which I know aren't on the DLS,

Will edit after I have a play

EDIT: after downloading I had to fix the Tram 2 Voie tracks buy Denis_fr, but no biggie, but some users probably won't know how to do this

Had a play, what a great route Paul, you should try getting BHampton into the next version of Trainz

Just for the record, 134105:1613 will be replaced. It's one of my re-workings of Dave Drakes's perfect trees that I decided wasn't good enough.

I've managed to get that parking lot to appear, but it always seems to be missing some textures, and I'll look into the double track (I intend to replace it for the next version anyway).

I've decided to try to get an update done this weekend before I send out any more beta copies, so if you haven't had a reply, I'm not ignoring you, I just think it's more worthwhile for everyone to test the corrected version. Major changes are going to be to replace some non-DLS and faulty content.

Paul

Paul, you should keep Nekolai's animated People in as well though, and just leave a website link in the description

Jamie

I will. I'm more concerned about faulty stuff, especially as it seems one of the tracks I have used has a problem. I'll change that car park as well.

Now in TS2009 flavour...

These may look familiar, but they are in TS2009...

So, anyone want to test the TS2009 version? It's basically the same, but with most of the speedtrees swapped for trees by TNM and Jankvis.

Any comments from my other Beta testers? I've found a couple of minor errors and fixed them, and I need to do thumbnails - other than that, I'm just waiting for confirmation that everything is OK...

Paul

@Beta testers - any news, comments or issues? I'd like to release soon...

Paul

Greetings Paul,

TS2009 version runs fine, just a few minor things to note...

-The platform height might need raising slightly as the step is quite steep.
-The platform may also need lengthening in the ajs station properties so to open all the tram doors, otherwise the tram doors open randomly.
-Tram destination signs pop up not like the one shown in your shot above.

Other than those small things, everything else is fine :D

Many thanks for giving me the opportunity to beta test for you :) .

Regards

Johan

Thanks for the feedback.

The platforms are really tailored for true low-floor trams. If you look at the trams in the session, the step into them is about the same height as the internal step. I would have liked to issue my Citadis re-skins, but I have not been able to get in touch with Denis_fr.

I'll have to check the station properties - thanks.

The destination signs work fine for me in the TS2010 version - I'll have to check the TS09 version properly... What destinations do you get - there should be two route numbers, and a total of four destinations.
