Boxcar Splines - where are they?

I have a route where I placed some Boxcar Splines to fill up some large yard space. I want to add more, but I can't find them! I've looked under all the assets. I can't ID them either - nothing shows when I select "Get (category)" & click on the boxcar spline, yet there they are! I'm looking at them in the yard! I've tried every category in the asset selections.

I hope someone can help here before something terrible happens to my PC!!

If they are real boxcars sitting on a track then they are a consist, not a spline. You will find them listed under the consist tab of the Trancars tab in Surveyor.

You can turn a row of boxcars into a consist by selecting the Consist tab in Surveyor, selecting the Get Asset option, and clicking any boxcar in the consist.

They aren't real cars - they're low poly splines created especially for filling up yards with virtual cars.
Then you should be able to use the Get asset tool in the spline tab. Be sure that you are clicking on the marker that defines the end of the spline, that the correct layer is active, and there that there is nothing else placed above the spline that is preventing the click.

Found 'em. They're under track! They're splines, but act like track. Go figger! Why not under splines? Beats me!

Hope I didn't waste your time Builder :(

There are a number of older splines that are marked with istrack 1. I think it was the only way to get certain spline behaviour that is now managed through options in the Track Part container, such as coordinate transformation. Although it's also possible it was simply a mistake.

A word of caution; use shift+ move to position them otherwise being kind track they will form a junction with the track. Also some of them may be positioned at height 0m rather than 0.3m so will need height adjustment.
