Azol, I never delete cookies, but many of the posts in the Trainz forums slip under my wing. I use the Quick Links / Todays Posts which seems to be the most reliable, but many posts I've never read are in normal type and many are not represented. I find "New Posts" hopeless. After reading them, I can then go to a specific area and find dozens of threads or posts I haven't seen before.
dricketts has another problem. He says he has to go to the forum, locate his own thread, then check if there are any new posts. This means that he is not being notified by email when someone posts to one or more of his subscribed threads. The solution is in his UserCP.
I use Firefox by the way, but the forum software itself isn't all that brilliant. It has one of the worst search algorithms I've ever seen. I even visited the forum web site and found it quite amazing that the search facility doesn't allow for filters or Booleans. It's basically a single keyword search box, and that's it! The stupid part about it is that any 14 year old computer student could fix that. I have a limited knowledge of PHP, but I've written better search algorithms myself.
