Baseboard Elimination Question?

If baseboards are deleted from a route are all objects on that baseboard also deleted? If so , great? If not, how can I do it? This is TRS2004.

Of course, see otherwise you would have a bunch of trees and rails floating in mid-air as if the ground just disappeared, and nobody really wants something like that on their layout.

Yes.

But...

I've found that occasionally tiny bits of spline objects are left behind. You'll find that when you open up map view you can scroll right up to where the baseboard used to be - normally you can only scroll to the edge of existing boards. Tracks are not too bad as they will also show up in minimap view, but roads can be a b****r to find!

Sorry, don't know of any solution to this other than re-instating the baseboard and searching for the errant spline. I've started deleting spline objects manually before deleting the baseboard itself!

Hope this helps

David

Edit - I'm using TRS06 - don't know about 04

I've had intersections hang behind. The easiest way might be to delete the square, then put in a new baseboard and go out to look for stray items. If everything was deleted on the first try, it should only take a moment to confirm it and kill off the new baseboard.
