Hi,

Please could someone tell me where I can find information on "Banking track" or "Superelevation" as it is some times refered to. Is it in the CCG.

You can find vehicle's superelevation as a script funtion public native void Vehicle.SetRollBasedOnTrack(float factor) at TrainzDev Wiki. This function is used in locos' scripts and in "banking consist" rule.

On face value it looks complicated, I have yet to read it fully but will when I have more time. Perhaps this explains why no routes with this function have been made available for the user.

Hi,

I was looking for "Superelevation" for track but this offering is for Locomotives and rolling stock only.
I was hoping that track would have "Superelevation/Banking" capabilities but it does not.
So I can take it Trainz has nothing to offer for tracks.

At the moment you can only get "flat" track. You can apply a gradient to it and apply a height to it but you can,t bank it.

Not quite true. The fellows who developed the "banking consist" rule also did banked track as I recall. I have also done some to fool around with...it is available over at USLW.
