Bakersfield To San Bernardino

-Its been a while since an update. The team and I have been very busy, getting signals in, tunnels, etc. I have also learned 3ds... , well somewhat lol! But I feel that, if there's something to be done or you want, why wait for it and build it yourself! Anyway, have a few shots and a little FF, fun fact, for today.
-You may wonder what happened to all the tunnels on the Mojave Sub. Well most of them were destroyed by earthquakes but after tunnel 10 a few survived and weren't even day-lighted. Instead, in and around these 2 pics at Marcel, they were buried in the hills and the tracks you see today built around them. After tunnel 10, the loop's top tunnel, the next tunnel is tunnel 14... just to give you an idea! So if you got to Marcel and dig a hole deep enough you might find concrete lol!

oh, its certainly not purple... maybe adjust your screen till its pink? :)

as Joe said, i did make some ATSF pink lady ballast for the appropriate tracks.

I have Bakersfield to Mojave but have never finished it. For crossings I recommend the ATLS crossings due to the grades, as these crossings can be set independently of the track and will also activate at a greater distance.
On a side note they had a derailment at tunnel 9 at Walong a week ago, with two cars catching on fire that the fire department had to let burnout on its own due to the nature of the product. It did considerable damage to the tunnel and track so it's still closed to all traffic, as of last weekend at least when I drove by there.
