I would like to make my "General" into an Avatar and I have the profiles, but every time I "shrink" it down, (by the way, WHAT is the size it should be??), all I see are a blury mix of pixels.

How do you "shrink" it down and keep the detail? I'm using PSP 7 and 9

Hi Terry,
I use photoshop CS3, there are a couple ways to do it but what I do is 1 clean up, add detail and sharpen 2 shrink it while it's still a jpg. 3 then convert it to a gif. 4 I save it as a web picture (optional) and shave color shades off until I reach the COC size.

204x30 pix and no larger than 3kb. COC #18

How about a BR blue A1? Also an Austerity 2-8-0 would be nice.

Lorin I have sent you a LNER/BR A1 Blue as requested, and also a selection if Austerity 2-8-0's you should be able to make 4 or 5 from them, BR, LMR, WD wtc, so the collection of UK steamers should grow from 12 to 100 by the time ya finished.

If you are using them as signatures, then watch the size. Keep them all as I will need them for my website.

BTW I just counted my steamers, its over 1000 !!!!

I would like to see te UK Britannia, Black 5 and 9F as they are all 'Classics'

There is a fancy Royal Tartan loco coming ovr that was a reality in Scotland. A Pig to paint though !!!

I had same probs with batteries a long while ago, switched to rechargeable as it was costing me a fortune !!!

Since starting this project I have gone thru 3 sets, but I would never go back to a cord.

Thanks for the locos Paul, I will try to knock off 1 a night, each steamer takes about 1-2 hours to make, everything has to be gone over or you just see a 204x30 blob:hehe:
