In your last screen shot post #20264 could you please give me a heads up of the black, looks like rubber crossing board I remember seeing that some time ago but for the life of me I can't remeber the name or kuid no.
thanks mate.
Joe

That's the NSW 2-track level crossing made by Davido, KUID:60723:1245. Although it's on the DLS, it came included with my copy of Trainz 2010 as well. There is also a single track version available too.

That black rubber road surface you refer to though is an integral part of the crossing and isn't a separate item as far as I'm aware. But there are similar items on the DLS you can use to simulate such a crossing surface.

@ Steve - loving the Hawkesbury shots mate, they look awesome :)

@ matruck - Loving those, very handy indeed. Replaced all the ones I had in my route with those as I can position them alot better, Thanks mate!

@ jason - liking what I see mate, keep at it.

and as alwasy, all the screen shots in Aussie pics is top notch keep it up all :)

Cheers

Brisbane model train show on this QLD "Labour Day" long weekend http://brisbanemodeltrainshow.com.au/wordpress/

A bonus; Trainz forum member Greg Cash, has written a book on the Marburg branchline with a bonus CD with track curve and gradient data plus station layout plans. It is for sale at the model train show and of course Greg autographed my copy :) :)
Just the thing for anyone wanting material to build a trainz route based on that South East QLD branch line.

I did check the Rosevale layout helpers but no sign of Trainz89 as everyone helping run that layout looked over 40.

Kicked out, I heard.

Would be interested in buying a copy of Cash's book on Monday when I'm manning a stand. Alas, I need to save my money. Can't see that happening. xD

Hi Enkidoh,
Thanks for the info, I knew when I saw the name it rang a bell and I did have them stashed some where.

Thanks mate

Joe.

Yeah i bought a copy of Greg Cash's book yesterday when i went to the show, its a great book, i reckon as well if someone made a route on the old branch, that would be great. It's got some fascinating photos in it, some great ones of the collieries on the branch.. great book and legend story.

Something new...
It's the 1980's and J 515, recently restored to full mainline opperation by the SRHC, hauls an UP V/line pass on the NE mainline, seen running parallel to the Melbourne/Sydney SG. Due to the addition of a power van at the back of the consist, the train was hauled without diesel assistance...

Some awesome shots being shown lately, great work guys :)
Here's a few 'real' S Class shots ;)

After work today I went down to the train station to find S300 and S311 sitting idle in the yard on the front of a short mixed goods.

Decided to grab my Heli and follow the goods after it departed. It is seen here powering away from the township.

I gave up chase after this shot, the two S classes were making good time with their relatively short load.

Cheers,
Tom :)

Nice work Tom,
Hopefully these boy's will be able to attach L270 and LQ2500 to their train before the weather turn's ugly.
