Australian screenshots

True to life as there is a new road bridge while the trains have to make do with an old bridge that could even be of the size that does not allow high containers ...
Geez Mate,Sorry my FICTIONAL route isnt upto your realistic standards....Last time I checked there were no issues with my freight trains using the bridge and containers dont hit the top and since I dont run double stack wagons the bridge is fine.

Hi Glen, saw them come through town on their way to Miles.
Added some bends to the collection 1 on an A trailer and 1 on a skid and 2 as a product. (I can do a single as a product if required)

Still to be uploaded.

Cheers,

Bill.

Need a couple of 2470 class locos, as they are the motive power for the pipe trains to Miles for the gas pipeline project.

I think you may have misunderstood Petan there, Harry.

He's saying that your scene mimics the real life practice of upgrading a road bridge to take the weight of the Titanic, while 100+ year old rail bridges are left to struggle with increased traffic on minimal upgrade/repair budgets.

Matt.

Wishing you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY Scott. Hope it brings everything you wish for. As usual on this forum it seems the birthday person is the one giving the presents instead of recieving them. Those items will make welcome additions to the latest versions of Trainz on computers everywhere I am sure.
Regards
Glen

All the best Scott on your birthday mate!

That was indeed how I read it too, as a compliment :).

Yes Harry1986, as others have noted, I was stating that your work does correctly reproduce real life. One sign of a well thought out fictional route is that it does look real even if it is make believe :)

Squeeze this one in before heading to the Liverpool model rail exhibition... :p

Hey all,

The crews of Y 102 was dispatched to pick up a rake of empty live stock, when they got there the crews came across a dilemma, they started scratching there cosmic heads and thought *how do we couple screwlink to auto*

Nice work Forest; both on the screenshot, and reminding me about the Liverpool exhibition. Can't believe I forgot!:o

I think I'll head down there tomorrow.

Cheers,

Matt.

Wow, all of the screenshots are simply breath taking and amazing. They truly capture how great Aussie railroads really are. To me, they are the Standard Railroads of the World, the next generation versions of the fallen flag American railroad, the Pennsylvania Railroad and its modern equivalents BNSF Railway and the Norfolk Southern Railway. I can't wait to see more of Aussie being recreated in Trainz. Maybe one day, we may see the whole country recreated in Trainz. Now, that's a route I'd love to see, even though it may never happen.

Thank you all for the Birthday greetings and wishes. Much appreciated. The Tender of the last C-17 uploaded is in the system a minor alteration was needed to get it approved its now approved and will appear in due course.

Decided to give myself a challenge this weekend by doing a VR 'Lamp Room' for Trainz. Used a 'high detail' model to render the textures for the game model, with some tweaking afterward.

Just sent them off to the DLS, and they should be available tomorrow or Tuesday :)
