Great shots all.

Excuse the lack of much anything; got the urge to share a few progress shots.

Silverwater, small yard on a Sydney industrial branch. Home to a container depot, steel manufacturer and cement distributor.

sup all,
testing another export, its one of those "what if?" senarios...

the Keneth Parabry colliery, purchased a z20 in the 1960's and it became their number 4.
seen here currently hauling a rake of government hoppers, heading to a power station like Bunnerong. Expect at least 2 different imaginary engines when i release ;)

Why is the ganger scratching his head?
Why that's easy :hehe:
You see he was minding his own business replacing sleepers on a sunny Monday in September 2011 when ZAPPO he was suddenly whisked out of time back to 1926 and near scared to death as the two smoke belching antiques whisked by him. Yeah I think he needs a blue boiler suit or an old suit to wear.
Yes you got that right Gangers actually worked track side in a jacket and pants with an ordinary small brimmed hat, in those days ;)
Cheers

Two big thank you's from me, firstly, to axe1970 for his megaroute Georgetown to Tarin Rocks ( got your route running nicely in TS2010 now Axe ), and secondly, to David O for his brilliant locomotives and new Multiple Units, which we can use to ferry our passengers from station to station complete with fully functioning opening doors, whoooo hoooo.....:hehe:

I'll just pop a few shots up in appreciation to our great Trainzers downunder, keep up the wonderful work everyone.

Sliverwater small yard? Hmm never heard. When was that? Used to work in Sliverwater.

Cheers Jason.

Silverwater yard exists only in my mind, Jason. It's a fictional route I got the urge to do, to give me the opportunity to try a bit of urban modelling.

I chose the name because that's where my dad works, as did I, briefly, before deciding unemployment is easier.:o

I could have called it Rozelle, Botany, or Clyde, but figured that that would invite unwanted attention from rivet-counters.:hehe::hehe:

Just a couple of shots of the Indian Pacific rolling through Banndabra,Thanks to Mattm's route as it was a good starting point for a route.

I might be slightly biased:p, but I like what you've done with it!:D:D

Not too sure I would have run the IP through town, though. Passengers tend to get a little shirty if you put their train in the dirt; specially the ones in First Class!:hehe::hehe:

Edit: Been a while since I looked at that route; was sure I had dead-ended the line in a stand of trees. It actually might work as part of an interstate line.

Yes the route was a good starting point,Adding a bit more scenery added abit more life to it.

Unfortunately for the passengers on board the IP this wasn't a problem compared to the derailment it experienced on the route,When I load trainz up later I might need to fix a section of the track:p

Cheers Harry

Yes, it does need a bit of scenic development. I'm just testing signaling and basic AI manouveres into and out of the container terminal at the moment, and thought I'd share.
