Don't know if this happened in real life, but on Sunday, the steam train was used for a run to Grandchester and back to Ipswich Workshops, in terrible weather (that part was real)

Trent
Queensland has achieved a lot in railway circles but gets ignored because of the straight out narrow Gauge. NSW ignores it cause of the rivalry in State of Origin football. Queensland has a unique style and flavour that no other state has. Researching the suburbs it has character to burn, NSW might be my home state i like its railways but something about Queensland its individuality its character speaks more volumes than NSW Queensland Railways has this i think i can i know i can attitude which i like.

I dunno about the most, we don't see much Tasmanian, SA, NT or WA screenshots here :hehe:

Hey Trent,

Im slowly getting there with a WA NG Route. Its the Geraldton-Mullewa Section which is 100km. The line has Iron Ore and Grain hauled over it.
Im up to texturing and scenery except im about 15km into the line. It will take a while and hopefully have it complete eventually :)

Cheers

Nice screenshots all!

I finally got around to fixing up my CRT 30 foot containers. The height should now be correct and roof hatches have now been added, though finding roof photos of the containers proved to be quite difficult!

Anyway the new static and product versions have been updated with kuid2 numbers and will obsolete the original versions. They have been uploaded to the DLS and are waiting for approval.

If a loco built for 2004 and works in 2012, does that mean it will work in all previous version? Or am I being over optimistic:confused:

OK over in Victrainz forums in the beta thread, there is a link to a 72 class beta, strange loco. it works fine in 04 and someone is currently running it in 12. If anyone wants to have a play with it in other versions feel free. usual thing about dependencies apply

cheers

I'm currently working on a very rough rendition of the Perth suburban network which I first started in 04 and have imported into 2010. It's been a slow process (especially texture issues with the dual gauge track I'm using), but I'm getting there.

And yes, screenshots will be forthcoming, once I get the scenery to an acceptable standard that is - it's rather messy at the moment.

Just one from me, 4814 and 4471 lead a short P&O Trans Australia freight 1811N towards Orange Hills junction, bound for Narromine. Normally confined to Sydney trip train working, 4471 has been used to replace a failed 80 class (failed mostly because there is no decent 80 Class model out there, much less one in Coote Industrial or QUBE livery, haha).

I thought colhad had done an 80 class

He did, and while it was a decent representation of the class at the time, compared to modern models produced for 09 and beyond, it looks rather dated. The shape is spot on, but the textures and numbering and some of the finer details is what needs work.
