Wow Ryan - these don't look like the original williamg EMU's I remember - or alby's updated ones either. Is that a new skin available for them, or is that for personal use only?

Whatever they are, they look fantastic !

Cheers - Brian

nice shots Daniel, that signal box is a bit new and bright isnt it. Have you thought of opening up the textures in psp, gimp whatever and playing around with the saturation setting, tat would tone it down a bit

cheers

Hi all.

I am just wondering if there are any multiplayer sessions for the Aussie Routes in Trainz

If so, which routes?

Thanks c38nsw

Thanks Pete, signal box has been fixed now. Did you get my message the other day?

trainman3801, those are Pete's R cars that I've re-textured and re-bogied.

Quick question...

Does anyone know the standard distance between track pairs in NSW/Sydney? Is it 3.75m or 4.00m?

Or am I just way off...

I'm adding some new track and tidying up other areas and I want to make it the correct distance if it's wrong.

Hello

When I was last on here, I was incredibly rude to everyone, I apologise, may we move past this.

I cant download anything, it says my details are incorrect, I've checked and they are correct. Is it internet connection, or are other users having trouble with this as well?

Liam.

Hi Shane,
depends on what format you need for the Ipswich layout.

If you need the route complete with tracks and landscape already done, some are in production but completion date is a very long way away, maybe years, due to the high level of detail. See the "Brisbane CityTrain - 800x600 pixels" thread for work in progress.

If you are able to make your own landscape using the Trainz surveyor tools and thus only looking for the raw DEM format with accurate landscape such as hills at the correct heights / locations, along with the road and rail locations correctly marked, than try http://forum.victrainz.com.au/index.php and look for the DEM request thread which will point you to the storage folder with the DEM routes.

That Victrainz thread will also mention the very recently released DEM only Ipswich route, including the new Richlands branch. Using the various separate DEMs in that storage folder you can do QLD from the steam era Tweed Heads / Coolangatta area north to Gympie and west to Ipswich and the Brisbane Valley line etc.

You note Melbourne as your location so you may see some interesting VR routes in the storage folder of that extremely generous Victorian group. Registration is free.

Cheers

Petan i think he means ryan's QR network

WIP (another lol) for the CityRail network:

Beverly Hills Station

I had to try something different because I was getting annoyed with working with splines.

Thanks, I'll check it out. :)

Deadly, What part of the CityRail network are you building? I assume it involves Beverly Hills, and the East Hills Line?

Thanks c38nsw
