Australian screenshots

From my previous post:

"Pofigs trees link : http://trainzup.com/?p=1413 Button on right of each is the 3epkano is the download button"

The Russian word there is the download button which takes you to Turbobit's website where the file is hosted, which is in English :) I think Pofig has made it quite straight forward to get his files even with the language barrier issues.

Trent

Yes I understand that Trent, but once I go to the Turbobit page there are several download buttons and I don't know which one does what....

I'll try all of 'em but I don't wish to download something I don't want...

Stevo

EDIT: Ok, as it turns out all I had to do was click the picture...Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzz...how annoying, cheers Pofig for pointing this out

A couple of problems I'm having.

Can anybody explain why when I make a balloon loop I end up with a gap in the rails. This never happened before TRS 2009 and I've tried many types of track with no luck. I've tried adding in straight sections, objects, relaying etc and it only moves the gap around. Any ideas?

Also maybe DavidO can explain why cars on my layout drive through instead of over his level crossings. I assume that I'm the only one having these problems as I haven't heard any other comments and again they occur in TRS 2009/10/12.

You have mail ;)

Rod

gee thanks guys but i was not the brains behind this exercise there is a man on this forum who pointed me in the right direction on this topic to see it on the rails in 2012 as thou seeing its in in the ceaters hands now it would be good if it came out of the paintshed in kl class colours lol :udrool:

No option

Has anybody got the 80 class working in TS12 it about the only missing bit of aussie kit that I am missing.

Most of natvanders stuff gets fixed when you hit the revert button

for natvanders content content does not give me the option to revert got any other ideas :'(

To be honest, I don't know why Natvanders stuff has failed this way. Does anybody know who upgraded the stuff to 10/12? I suspect it wasn't Natvander, because then, the job would have been done right

Ok, now that the trees have been downloaded, WinRar doesn't seem to be able to copy it over into the CDP... HELP! :'(

stevo

Make sure you got the newest version of Winrar. http://www.rarlab.com/

ANd I usually take the option by right click the RAR file and Extract to <folder name as per rar file> then import to CM via Import CDP. Works for me every time :)

Hope that helps mate.

Cheers

Thanks Trent, I managed to get it in the end, it turned out I was trying to put it on the Shared drive whenit had to be put on Tim's computer first...

At least I know how to do it now

Welcome Stevo,

They are awesome trees, well worth the effort to add them to your Trainz. Pofig has done an amazing job with his trees and shrubs.

<Inserts screenshot hopefully tonight>

Yeah, I can explain it.
It's the way the crossings were built. The traffic I used when testing them weren't lowered like yours and the effect wasn't as pronounced,
I'll probably remake them one day.........

Hmmm, I'll have to change the traffic to something normal then, as soon as I remember what I did to make them that way in the first place. I know I downloaded something. I wasn't very happy with their look anyway. Thanks very much for the quick reply Davido.

Still looking for some idea on what causes the gap in the rails at balloon loops though. That one is really mystifying me.

Thanks everyone,

Railwayz

In the meantime

While I'm trying to discover the root of my balloon loop problem I may as well share some more screenshots.

An Up grain train does a crew change at Cedarlands platform while quad 48's wait in the loop.

Quad 48's follow the earlier grain train and depart Tugginon loop on their way to Bringiddon where the crew will build up the train with wagons from the silos there.

The mid morning passenger saunters over the Beech Road level crossing. I really do love that 421 class. I just wish it came in Candy colours.
