Nambour first look

This is Nambour station as a WIP. If anyone has any suggestions, please tell me anything I need to put in. I've been using Google Earth for the track layout, but I'm not sure on what to do for the topography of the area, although I know it's pretty hilly.

These are the first shots of the Nambour - Gympie section.

EDIT: I cannot get the images using the link function. Is there another way to do this as my images are on imageshack?

On the right side of the page there is a menu that says Embed this image, you want to copy paste the Forum code :)

Background

Correction - it re-entered service last night. I've just read the Courier Mail and there's actually an article on it. I guess the other one will now head off to Maryborough for an overhaul as well.

Ryan,
The properties on that picture show it taken on 28/4. Not sure where it was heading as it had passed before I saw it. Was heading over to the station when it pulled up and just took a few shots before continuing as we were a tad late.

Glen

A low nose T class leads a short Super train along one of the VR's most 'boring' (yet interesting) branchlines...

Actually made a map that covers the approximate length of the line, but not DEM based, so fairly plain...

Just uploaded this to the DLS:

A three-board yard branchline junction yard. Features loco depot; carriage sidings; stock yard and flour mill. With minimal texture and building placement, it's designed purely as a starting point for a new route.

Hopefully someone can find a use for it.

I may upload a more 'finished' version later on, if i can get that far!

Matt.

Great looking yard Matt. You have a PM with some good news :)

Shall be grabbing it from the DLS and taking a look at it.

Cheers

Trent.
