This what you are reffering to Mitchey ?

P4280033.jpg

It's a special form of sticker that they have used to decorate it for some purpose. Will try find out what its about
Glen
P.S. Sorry for the RL screenie guys !!

A few pics of F184 hauling a mixed train into Mortlake. Rather happy with how this map is turning out :) Especially since I basically did 3 boards of scenery in about 2 hours...

"Aboriginal" livery. Only found on the set that's out of action at the moment.

Its still a beta but I'm sure you will see soon ;)

4516 leads a short grain across Palmdale Creek, while an Air New Zealand flight commences final approach. (Lost the rest of Vulcan's planez when I had to reinstall. :( )

Later, the Western XPT makes its journey out of suburbia. Destination: Dubbo, somewhere around 2 tomorrow afternoon.

I wish I had some more variety for you guys, but having reinstalled Trainz2010 when the patching failed, after copying my local folder back in I had hundreds of items simply gone! Including most of Vulcan's planez, Davido/Natvander's rolling stock and locos, and many other things that probably aren't important.

I also have 1053 content updates, no FCT, and constant "Server full". What's a Trainzer to do?

I also wonder if anyone has considered making "ATLS-style" Oz crossings, much like the UK ones and the US ones by BNSF50. It's rather difficult to get the tracks to line up with the fixed crossings available at the moment. They also close much too late.

Anyway, rant over. Great shots everybody!:D
Happy Traizning,;)

Hello Scott,

Nice screenshots mate :)

No FCT, just dont worry about the updates mate, my friend doesnt have an FCT either and he always gets the server full, I think they are trying to add more log ons for the free servers though. I personally feel an FCT is so worth the price, but also understand some can not afford it due to other reasons. Just ignore the updates, unless its an item you use and just check if you can download some each time you log on to Trainz, then get back to driving/building.

Davido's (Australian Content creation Guru - Thanks David) crossings work excellent for me in Trains 2010 and 2012. I find they close at a good distance and I have no issues connecting tracks to them at all.

Taking the wife PC part shopping today, time to upgrade GFX card for her. She running an old 200 series, and I promised her a 500 series.

Cheers

Trent

I like the atmosphere in the first shot - with a 737(?) on approach

Trent - will port Levondale have an airport anywhere??

Hi Trent.

Thanks for the compliment, they're really not brilliant, but they're all I can manage at the moment.

Perhaps I should elaborate. When I said it's difficult to get the tracks to line up, I meant that they are at a different width than the width I normally build at. Let's say that this | | | | is the width between the tracks on Davido's crossings, and this | |.. | | is the distance between my tracks. As you may be able to see, there is a difference. I guess either his is too narrow or mine is too wide, but that's just what I'm comfortable with. You've got to think about track clearance, you know... it can get fiddly when you need signals and speedboards between the tracks.

I personally find the ATLS system very user-friendly, easy to set up and operate. If the UK and US have done their crossings ATLS, by golly why can't we? Of course I would do it myself but I haven't got the necessary skills or equipment...

I'll see if I can get some shots from my Brisbane map later.

Happy Trainzing,;)
Scott.

Trent and Zec, your shots make these look terrible...

Ok, story, K103 once again pulls the 6am mixed into town...
...it shunts its train around the small yard to perpare the 6:45 out passenger (ignore the container on the KMQ, it loaded itself when I drove passed the goods ramp)...
...The K is prepared to leave but is held up by the cattle...
...Y class chugs in with the cattle 8 minutes late...
...K103 departs back the way it came...

Please comment and there are more coming (once I finish the session)
I have been running this one for an hour and a half and it hasn't restarted so I'd say this thing is fixed...

I love the third Screenshot and the Last one. It is equal to the best I have seen, :)

Correction - it re-entered service last night. I've just read the Courier Mail and there's actually an article on it. I guess the other one will now head off to Maryborough for an overhaul as well.

Bear, i'm thinking by the shadow cast, that the tiger moth flies like a brick
ha ha ha true:D :hehe:

Its the TS12 shadow bug - got me stuffed why it was so important that creations had shadows when along comes TS12 and it has the ablity to insert its own versions of the shadows.

The shadows in TS12 are my only complant.

Oh Peter were you looking for the next project :hehe: a rework of the old coal blacks so there able to take a load of coal would be nice :)

This one is for you Chris. :D

NT33 is moments away from Casino when its caught crossing the Bruxner Hwy at 18:44. XP2016 is leading this set. It is now the only XP in the old Countrylink Scheme.
