Early days yet but here mu new project SW5 and SW6 the water tanks of the old weed spraying train.

SW5 may also have a spin off of a bogie water gin

ok, this is the D58 class, not that different to look at except different running board skirt and conjugated gear cowling. I have modelled the inspection ports on the cowling and left them open so that you can see the conjugating gear working. Is the preference for them to be open or shut? you cant see them that well in the screenie.

most of the Pic's you see of 58's had the inspection ports open, but , as Billegulla pointed out, the 58's used a totally different conjugating gear, so nothing to see actually moving...

actually the change to the rack & pinion gear of the 58's was one of the reasons it wasn't as successful as its predecessor .. the brass rack & pinion gear suffered excessive wear effecting the valve timing of the middle cylender. the other was the slightly smaller cylenders, intended to widen the route availablity( they were all overhauled at Cardiff so they could run on the short north), which made them prone to slipping

Probably the last of my shots for a while in TS2009. The Reason: AWFUL lag in low detail areas. I can't put up with it anymore. So I've resorted to TRS2004...
