In keeping with the QR takeover:hehe: , I have a progress shot from my route Brisbane CityTrain.

Brisbane6.jpg

A busy morning at Roma Street. QR 2308 and 21xx lead a northbound container through the wye, while the Cleeveland* bound EMU departs platform 5 and an XPT sits idle in the background.

The 2300 is made by williamg, who has also made a 3100/3200 and a QRN 3700. Links to these locos are in this thread: http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=64089

The track is QR 3ft 6in Track 09, a beta by alby6 available only from the QDRTrainz Yahoo group. The dual guage track is also alby6's, kuid2:72882:1093:1 on the DLS.

Any other questions, comments or queries, feel free to ask them.:D

*"Cleeveland" appears to be an error with the scripting on alby6's QR EMU, and I don't know how to fix it.:o

Happy Trainzing,;)
Scott.

A small side project, to get me back into route design, a series of small country station and yards, suitable for adjoining to an existing route, or for expansion into a new route. First one, is a litle country branchline, set in NSW.

'NSWGR Dunere'

Facilities - mainline, crossing loops, goods siding, stockyard.

I was just going to "refresh this one ,a tweak here and there.

Ended up rebuilding the whole thing, just have to add a shadow plain underneath and it should be good

will put it on the victrainz site monday or tuesday

Very nice Pete, will be a worthy addition to the NSWGR steam train fleet I'm slowly building up (and repairing so they work perfectly in 2010) :)

Pete and Mulie have done it again!

Nice route Mulie, simple but elegant. :)

Nice 26 Pete...looks good!

Also, just remembered....Where can I get Wilialmg's track that Ryan has in the first shot? That would go very well on my layout im working on. :)

Thanks!

John

Thanks Mulie - the detail is minimal as I've already laid about 17km of track - I've often become very bogged down in detail, so I'm keeping it simple.

I agree, I'm very much liking what I see, only problem with the RM, is one of the 'sides' is inverted aparently, one day hopefully, the creator can fix it :)

Patch and Trent
Great shots, not super-detailed, but a great looking run,
Patchy, what are your textures in these latest masterpieces??

Jamie

Mulie, Pete, Raichase, Patchy... awesome stuff!!

In the same vein as Mulie a couple of pages back... just something I whipped up in quick time whilst I was trying some very different. ALL (polling the audience here) Reckon there is any place or interest for this kind of thing?? I think you can tell where it's evolving.

Also the idea is to have a through double tracked suburban line on the bricked viaduct.

Kudos to all the Aussie legends we have here; whether it be Queeensland, NSW or those other loser states (joke:p), they seem to be able to capture the 'spirit of place.' Well done.

Mulie, great to see you back, you've certainly not lost the knack.

Patchy, looking good. Love the latest set of shots.

Raichase, ditto! I like the landscaping approaching Risdon.

And Forest, yes, please! Even if you only do it for me, please, don't let this one fizzle out! I'm all for the outback and nature and all that jazz, but there's been to much of that in this thread. Nobody seems to have any interest in urban landscapes.

I would love to see the results of one of our Modular Maestro's attempts at a little bit of urban modelling, even if it is only one or two boards. It would be better than nothing.

Pretty please, for me?

*Edit* What is that viaduct, please, and also the silo(?) to left of shot?

Matt.

Hey Pete - looks good, but... check the attachment point on the compressor - I'm pretty sure it should be well above the foot plate

Oh, FR Dissapointing, it's got no textures:hehe:

Yeah I'm interested, maybe the through main could have over-head (Note to self, still got to show how to use catenary bridge)

Hi All
Just a quick shot from in Trainz from me :)

A VR F class hauls an up pass along a country branchline.
