Trent,

I am disappointed in you; you chose that Queensland water over Tooheys?

You just ruined an otherwise brilliant shot.:hehe::p

I really like your town; it has a nice feel to it, and there are a few little details that really make it stand out, like the XXXX being delivered, the Telstra phone box on the corner, and the wheelie bin next to it, waiting to be emptied.

Nicely done,

Matt.

There have been some great screenshots of late, I just wish I was as creative especially in the area of Textures.

Forest_Runner, keep up the experimenting. You're experiments will continue to inspire all of us to hope we can match them by at least 10%.

Nice work Trent, like Matt said, your town and street has a "nice feel" to it.

Zec, many thanks for the present. It's a lovely little loco even if it was not too happy when pushed to a top speed of 71kph (without wagons). At 20kph (or so) it was much happier and far more effective.

Oops, sorry I'm late, Zec. I was able to substitute the missing KUID with the available one. That is a very nice looking little loco. Thanks very much for it.

Bill

Matt - A couple of days ago I would have said the same thing, although yesterday when I visited Bathurst, I couldn't help but notice the pub near the station is covered in XXXX logos and slogans. So, it's not just the Cane Toads that seem to like it!

You guys realise it's only called XXXX because they don't know how to spell "beer" north of the border, dont you?? :p

Think you missed the nature and context of the light hearted jibe, Mitch.

Anyway... outback sunset... witnessed something like this when in Hawker in April this year as it clouded over in the afternoon. It was quite spectacular and had never seen the likes of it before.

Not even close.

Not that I'd know of course, but it's called XXXX to discourage drinkers outside Queensland from drinking it.... surely XXXX must be worse than XXX, mustn't it?:o

Happy Trainzing,;)
Scott.

Trent,

Thanks for the shot; i feel better now! Another nice looking town scene, too. Very realistic look and feel.

Forest,

Love the skies.

Matt.

Surely that depends on what the "X"'s are describing wouldn't it. (nudge, nudge, wink, wink)

Bill

Hi Bill,

it is beer for "grown up" ones, that's why they brew it north of the border.

Also I was going to do a VB one as well, but I don't know if they want a softdrink trailer.

Cheers,

Bill.

For Bill's benefit (HiBaller)... VB is the abbreviation for Very Bad. :p

Also, why is "abbreviation" such a long word??...

Why can't we all drink a real beer like Cooper's, and all be happy without drinking that watery rubbish? Tooheys? XXXX? VB? Eh. Tsk.

Oh, and I'll add a screenshot here after I move back to Australia shortly. Evolution bless the 'edit' button.

All
have been reading the dramas of the beer and naming rights NSW should bite their tongue, i guess Tooheys Draught was to hard to spell and they changed it to Tooheys New.

In regards to naming XXXX;

"The XXXX's brand was first introduced in 1924 and is a throwback to the long standing tradition of using Xs to indicate the strength of an ale." found on a wikipedia article on the history of XXXX.

now for a screenshot.

Nice seeing correctly gauged QR stuff from yourself and Kent, Ghosty.

More experimenting with skies. 3 different looks, but the same sky... and once again, a not often seen class of loco here on the forums...
