Thanks for noticing mate. Just a few cosmetic changes and a couple of extra signals.

I have uploaded an extra session as well. "NSWGR short afternoon freight haul" A session that again complements the content created by Natvander and Davido. Also a little of "The Bigman's" content.

What I really appreciated about this session was the late afternoon start. I liked the eerie colour and atmosphere of the sky/clouds... very artistic, axe.

The Kuttabul Mail...

It's 6:30pm. The Mail starts with MLV, FS & MHO in tow.

In a couple of hours, the Mail will reach the main line junction where a composite sitting car and a sleeping car will be added... along with a change in motive power to either a 44 or 45 class. The following morning, by the time the Mail reaches Sydney, she'll have about 8 to 10 cars in tow and would have a number of motive power changes. The Night Mails were the good old days of NSWGR/SRA rail travel...

Also, in-game I find TS2010 renders low-light exceptionally well compared to previous versions...

fsx trains.

Having spoken to davido many times he is the kind of person that will not release anything if he did not feel it was or is up to the standard that both he and Natvander have set for themselves. Be grateful for the items we have been able to get, i suspect that many of these items are former beta models that davido had of natvanders, iirc natvander had a computer crash and lost the meshes for many of the items released, fsx trains be grateful for the items if they were not there you would be complaining at the lack of items. i for one am happy that natvander and davido are sharing the items they have.

havign uploaded several items you dont just accidentally upload content there are a couple of steps you have to go through confirming you want to go ahead.

cheers

Some Stuff Just seem a little incomplete
could be just me
davido hasnt been on this thread for a very long time

I too have noticed his absense from the thread, although I suspect this is due to all the work he is doing "behind the scenes". As much fun as it is to play with new toys, I take inspiration from peoples screenshots, and it's always a shame to have one less person posting screenshots.

Regarding things being incomplete, I don't know what you are talking about here - all of the CWS content is up to a very high standard, and the reason that we so often see models for ages before they are avaliable is because things might look right in a freeze-frame game image, there is often a lot of work to be done behind the scenes to make sure the model is flawless. The little touches I have mentioned before, such as the realistic ALCo smoke on the 44/45 class (which is different between the two classes even), or the way the air hoses drop down when wagons/carriages are uncoupled, to the switches in the 620 cab are all classic CWS quality.

We are very fortunate to have such amazing models to play with, we are lucky that we have a number of very talented NSW model makers. Some of Peters steam locomotives are especially detailed.

If anything is "incomplete", it would likely be that it is a model built by Natvander who lost his work in a HDD crash a while ago, and he has given David "the road" to finish off what he has in beta/alpha(?) form and upload it under the CWS banner. This is very generous of both of them, as I would always prefer to work on a pet project of my own than finish something I might not be as involved in, because I was not working on it from the start.

I dunno, YMMV, but that's just how I see it.

As i said
possibly just me
i tend to overreact sometimes
could be my pc also
sorry to upset anyone
Davidos/natvanders content is one of my favorite things about trainz and I would never be ungrateful for Their work or anyone elses

Great screen shots NSW_Maddog.

Thanks for posting more screen shots of my route Forrest runner. A couple are my new favorites :)

Just want to add my 2 cents worth in the debate.

Having met both Natvander and Davido through a few T.O.T.R's & Wazzer organised get-to-gethers I can say that what they don't know about NSW rolling stock and NSW Railway type things isn't worth knowing.

I also know that the Cardiff Work Shops (CWS) releases are the finest Australian content available. *** Also - (Special mention to Zec Murphy & Billegulla) ;)

Thanks for all the hard work guy's.

Regards
