how do you install the QR bb18's interior

its a zip or rar file if I remember there were errors and I couldnt make a cdp at the time I uploaded to QDR just unzip or unrar to your desktop then import the folder to what ever version of TRS you are useing

Muliebuck; great screenshots, as always. I have several of your routes, and look to them as a measure of what can be acheived with a little time (of which i have plenty) and patience (which, sadly, i lack.)
One question for you though, if i may? How much, if any, planning is involved with these routes? They are only small works, so getting the basic shape/feel fleshed out wouldn't take to much effort, i would imagine.
So, what i would like to know is: how do you decide on the yard structure; how many tracks to lay down; what servicing facilities to include, etc; are they based on real locations or do you lay down tracks as you go, until you get something that feels right, and looks conceivable in real life?

Feel free to answer/ignore as you see fit. If anybody else would like to comment, please do so. I would like some insight into the design process that various surveyors take when starting a project.

Mattn: To answer some of your intriguing questions, I'll certainly try - I don't really have a 'goal' when I sit down and design, I just crank up my favorite tunes, and see how it goes. If I build a goods loop/spur, I like to place down an industry track, to give said track a 'reason' for being - likewise with a livestock spur/loop. Many of the stations I use are non-interactive (I'd like to have them interactive, but prefer the desolate, last days/end of the branchline type feel (courtesy of the rusty tracks, weeds everywhere, and so on).

Now for something completely different...part three. Its started life (in my head) as a carriage/locomotive workshops yard (lots of sidings/loops/sheds, etc), but this part just seemed to naturally evolve into a long forgotten spur to a former industry - who closed up and left, but the track remained, slowly being reclaimed by nature. I call it...

First test for my new steam loco


In this first shot, we see Z526 pulling the chassis out into the sunlight for the first time. After some adjustments we were able to pull it the rest of the way to the platform quite easily.


Another arrival this morning was 4476 and train, which is now used by ZR to bring in parts from Dhura Oon (where we use a local container yard to load the parts from trucks). Here we see Z526 just rolling to a stop in the platform with 4476 behind.


After having been successfully pulled into the platform, we see the chassis for the new locomotive.

And Tom... Eeeew, lens flare. You must be using a really cheap camera/lens there That is a really scary amount of lens flare. My photo of T413 at Lilydale (taken from about 1/2 a kilometer away, with a 20 odd year old 400mm lens on a Canon 40D in darkness with some stupid length exposure) didn't even have lens like that, and film lenses on digital cameras aren't exactly good for preventing lens flare

Ah, the short list?

Needs the Espec updating (currently using the Flying Scotsman's Espec from TC3...).

Needs the texture mapping completely re-done, so as to allow baked shadows and normals maps...

I also want to improve the nameplate/numbers, since this is currently fairly basic (I would like to be able to easily provide different numbers/names).

I also want to improve various parts of the mesh... And add a few more details in.

And, of course, make it easier to offer a few more variations

As for the ZR 'flagship' loco, this would actually be S301 without the doors (see my avatar ). Albeit missing the logo, this has to be my favorite look for an S IMO
