Australian screenshots

It's a Mitch thing... actually, I got the idea from Colhad... Furthermore, since when does Mitch456yui support anything QR? :p

Hahaha.
If they stepped up to standard guage they'd be alright.:p Nahh, they're ok, but not as good as the mighty NSWGR!:D
And, yep, rbar 164, that's true...

Thanks for the information, I'll hunt them down and see how they look, that one hour in surveyor, has been booted along to the DLS, so I'll start work on a new one, and see how those semaphores work :)

 Hi SARRailways

Sorry to say but all of my content is on hold for awhile as we have not long found out our son has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia :(
I have spent more time with him up the hospital then with Trainz.
It might be a long time before i can finsh some of my projects and release them.

RE : does that wildlife move?

Sorry rbar_164 i never got round to animateing the kangaroo's or the Camel's.

Ah, wit - Good one Electro, yes, I could use some Skippy's on my route, to give it that country feel - thanks for reminding me - but I don't think the camel's belong :D

And now, yet another idle project (something I do in my spare time, not a project never destined to be finished) - a fairly decent sized NSW themed country terminus yard.

=== images moved ...... reluctanly ===

Wow Muliebuck. Your yard work is amazing. You should just join up all your yards and branch line depot's together you would have a fantastic route :)

Keep slogging away mate.

Regards

Axe, you can talk, I can but aspire to live up to your talents with route building, sure, I can build yards (I promise, I start with ambitions of making them SMALL, country depots...and they grow...) - but as for making them into a route, well, I can but hope. I got one at present, 14 odd km of trackwork, but I'm not happy with it. I might cut it back to Drovers Peak, and release it as a small, QR modular route, which is what I seem destined to make.

Here's a little something, from the work in progress, QR Drovers Peak (all screenshots taken in surveyor).

Looking south towards the end of the route.

As can be seen, once again, I go for a small, country yard, and look what happens...what can I do...

Unfortunately, there's only X20/X25/X40/X50 ones, with only the crossover speed, not say, 50/x25, the NSW ones are by Natvander, and they are built in to TRS2004 onwards (I believe). Go back one page, and you'll see an example of the X25 NSW speed boards, which come (all the NSW speedboards) in both left hand side (just called Sign20, etc) and right hand side (Sign20R, etc.).

If you are using the NSW signals to set junction speeds, you can also use the dummy speedboards, search in Trainz for "dummysignx20" or above. These speedboards show up in Trainz, but don't change the speedlimit - this will help you to avoid mainline trains coming up with a speed of "20".

Also, the NSW VSB LHS/RHS are also really good for speeboards, as they are customisable, and you can set three limits per board. They also have a "surveyor only" version that is invisible in Trainz, good for preventing that "default 65km/hr" limit if you start your session in a yard or loco shed

Thanks Mulie, I have seen those but wanted more variety and that's what the QLD ones give me.

@ Railchase, I have seen the VSB ones but have not "played" with them yet. I will have a go at them soon.

Thanks,

Craig

Poul

Poul,
Sorry to hear about your son. It is very difficult to see your little one's sick or in pain. As for it taking priority over Trainz, well that's as it should be. This is only a game and he is real life. Take care and you have my thoughts and prayers with you. Want to talk, feel free to email me.
Regards
Glen

Poul

sorry to hear about you young one, like glen said trainz is not so important when ones own health or the health of the family are in a bad way. Your family and yourself come first take care of the important things you can always come back to trainz when or if the times right. take care hope everything goes well for you and your family.

cheers

ghosty

Poul,

Sorry I had missed your post.

I am very sorry to hear of your sons health problem and I hope there is some improvement in sight. As has been said family always comes first and Trainz only a distant memory.

Drop in from time to time and let us know how things are but do not worry about us or your creations and projects, you have enough on your mind.

Craig
