Australian screenshots

Happy (belated) birthday, Craig!!

and to (sorta) keep on topic, here's some upcoming Digger equipment in Trainz. I've ported these (with permission) from Eve of Destruction, a Battlefield mod (www.eodmod.com). They'll make it to the DLS after some finishing work....

They look great Curtis and will find many happy homes around Trainz Land. They is not much Aussie Military stuff around, so this is a nice addition.

Hi Craig,

At risk of derailing this thread (little joke I made there), an observation on your new setup: be careful with that video card.

I'm running that exact card in a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R board and am having troubles every so often with screen detection (dual monitor setup, sometimes one monitor works, sometimes the other, sometimes neither, sometimes both). The following link is for an OCAU thread which (I think, on a 5-second glance) addresses and provides a fix for the problem. I just haven't gotten around to doing anything about it yet.

http://forums.overclockers.com.au/showthread.php?t=819972

Other resources I've found list PSU rating as the problem (I'm only running 650W) so I'd be interested if a fellow GTX 260 owner has the same troubles as me.

Hope this helps in some way.

Thanks it does look good. Its been slow going recreating things as they were before airspaces were sold and the face of railways changed but i think its worth it in the end when i hear people able to identify the old locations.

Yes do not use the WD hard drives.
The best idea is to use matched hard drives gives the option of running a raid setup if you wish to.

Do you suggest any other brand and I am not into running a raid system.

Sorry if this is taking away from the thread subject, I am replying to some by emails instead of here :)

Mitchey

Because of the changes over the years thats why i have set out my maps as they were before the changes so people that have neither seen the numerous images in books or lived through the era can see what it was like. It brings back memories for some seeing Central with six platfoms no hotel over it or Brunswick st (yes Brunswick st not Fortitude Valley) with no shopping centre on it or Roma st with all long distance trains arring and depart from either platform 2 or 3 at Roma St and the yard at Roma St. I just hope my work will be appreciated by all.

Cheers
