Australian screenshots

It's just after sunrise and A2 953 making good time through Tooradin with the mornings down goods to places south...

Despite the 40MPH speed limit on the train, the A2 looks great thundering towards the flood plains around Dalmore...

Seen roaring across a private access road, the A2 appears to be making light work of it's train along the flat lines across the flood plains.

A little further south across the flood plains.

Since the train does not stop at most stations, we get to see the A2 roar across the twin bridges and level crossing into Dalmore stations.

Another view of the train at Dalmore, with an M van and an L van sitting in the cattle siding.

Now really entering flood plain country, the A2 pounds it's way across the Cardinia Creek trestle bridge.

Only a short distance further on, the A2 blasts it's way across yet another level crossing, with the van still on the Cardinia Creek trestle bridge.

In our parting shot, A2 953 blasts past the whistle board for the level crossing in the last shot.

interesting note on the pay bus, the wheels and chassis were scavenged from 60 class garratt leading bogies after the 60 class was scrapped

Hi all.

Saw some new wagons for Trainz today. The Manildra MGFH hoppers were on a trial run today with ARG's 2204/852/2208. They were being transferred to Beta testers where if successful will be uploaded to the DLS :hehe: :p

Further down the line I managed to get a closer shot of the wagons :hehe: .

BTW: I'm looking for a few more beta testers. First 3 people to PM me will get a copy of the beta. :)

Thanks to the response for the Beta tester recruitment, I won't be needing anymore :) !

Anyway another screen,

Some passengers waiting for the daily Xplorer service saw a headlight in the distance and got ready to board, only to realise as the train got closer that it was only a MGFH test train :hehe:  !

The Manildra hoppers are beta versions put out by TheBigMan, they work without any problems in 09, very nice model too.

They also work in 06 without a problem, screenie of them in TRS2006....

Looking good Col

:)

Neither a Ford nor Holden fan, but as Australian "icons", they're great!.

I think the top half is slightly wide still, but an improvement on previous problems??

Considering those tricky curves, I reckon these are some of your best work.
Not a complaint, just by way of encouragement really.

this is coming along nicely can someone tell me if there was a version with one awning for a non island platform?

I've made some adjustments to the Falcons, I've tried to taper the roof a bit more. Thanks Nat and Noel for helping out.

As Colhad has just pointed out, I think you can acquire whats left of it at the rubbish tip after the inbound train is about to obliterate it.

Cheers

Trent

No it was being driven by a "SUPER SIGNALMAN" and he pulled one of is levers and put the Ghan in a passing road. Plenty of room
Cheers

Sadely when i rebooted the computer i thought i had backed up a 99% complete copy but it appears not and now i have to start most of the fixing again:(
