Australian screenshots

Today saw a pair of T class locos hauling a long, for the ZR branch, coal train. The train was made up of ELX wagons, with some four wheel stock at the rear for various other stations along the branch.

A very dirty T384 and another T class sit at Devon Junction with the coal train, whilst awaiting departure.

Now on the branchline, the train is seen heading towards Sometown.

Viewed from outside the Sometown pub (Known as Somepub), the two T's grind to a halt at Sometown station.

Having picked up the staff for the next section, as well as having dropped off some mail, the driver carefully controls the train down the 5MPH cutting under Someroad and towards Someforrest.

Still traveling at 5MPH, the train rolls across Somecreek as it enters Someforrest.

With the two T's roaring in 8th notch, the train breaks the peace of Someforrest.

Now really going for it, the two T's belt past the first of the rail motor stopping places along the branch line.

Now traveling along at track speed, the two T's rumble across the Some River bridge.

Seen at the access to one of the many farms, T384 passes through a small group of trees.

Just a short distance on, the train is seen coasting along at track speed through sheep and cattle country.

TBC!

For the few of you who wanted or liked the platforms I previously created I have re uploaded some revised versions. I also uploaded versions containing a yellow line and one with no line in both 3.5m and 5.0m wide splines.

The below three images link to the tactile line, yellow line and no line versions in 3.5m.

Closer view of the platform style with the tactile line.

To get the 5.0m versions please visit my site. (still under construction)

Thanks Deadly :)

Cheers

Axe, you continue to astound me.
And it looks like the ten tunnels haven't been used in a while flewy69er. And Zec, the T looks great.

Just some upper short north places.

Deadly, those platforms are awesome and come in handy so much. What other CityRail stuff are you planning on making?

Just some basic CityRail content such as signs, indicators etc. I am trying to build some models of stations but they aren't going so well. Currently working on Macquarie Fields station.

P.S - Fixed the images from the previous page which were linked to localhost and not my web host, lol.

Wow! Really nice shots there 3830. :)

Have I missed a 'release' post or are you fortunate enough to be playing around with the beta of Davido's V sets? I've also seen many shots with that nice NSW-looking catenary on here lately. May I also ask where that came from?

Cheers - Brian

Brian,

The V-Set is so far a beta that Daniel is lucky enough to have received ( grrrr ).

The Wires were put up for download in a link awile back now ( i couldn't say how many pages though ) by once again the all-round-good-guy davido :p

The textures are coming along nice on that V-Set now and Daniel, Shocking work on the route as always :p

Nice shots guys! I'm really liking your route 3830...shame I cant make mine look so fine.

A couple from my latest addition. It is an abandoned station named Hume.

44201 is joined by 4820 on its first loaded trial.

44201 is seeming like a bad omen for the lines last Garratt, 6002++, as brand new 44201 overtakes at Slacky Flats.

I'm creating the V Set in partnership with Daniel and as a form of encouragement for him to continue with his amazing Short North/Lower Hunter route/s....same thing with the catenary.
I made the catenary and some level crossings available as a sort of public beta because people were keen to have a look at them.
I have removed them from the download link.
I won't be posting anymore public beta's in the future as I have created problems for myself with people uploading routes to the DLS that use these public beta's and Auran requesting that I upload the missing content.

So, a word of warning ....... don't use the catenary or the level crossings in routes that you are going to upload to the DLS. I don't want to be hammered by poeple wanting to locate this "missing" content and I'm nowhere near ready to release any of it to the DLS.

I'm sorry if I've created hassles for anyone.

Cheers
Davido

PS .....Some really nice screens of late too.

cleaning up rubbish

These items will be available from the dls later today.

the training wicket I found in some older stuff and forgot to upload before.

Hope you can use it. :)

Bill,

They look great.

Just wondering if I am pushing the friendship a bit too far, but would it be possible to have some generic tautliner trailers, and maybe Tolll Ipec, and SCT Freight.
http://www.sctlogistics.com.au/default.asp?ID=16

I have certainly been using them on my layout and sure these little gems will get used also.

Regards,
Warren.

snip .

No problem doing them the hard part is getting good pictures to use,
straight on shots of the front, side and rear are the best and a reasonable size over approx 400x400 pixels.

If you can help with that it would be helpfull. ;)

just playing around with the small truck.

Deadly,

These are great thanks very much for these. They will prove quite useful in my route :) .

For thise interested I am also planning on doing some CityRail items including renameble platform signs, roadside station signs and renameble platform seats. I will get onto them as soon as my MGFH's are complete (about 95% complete now)

Cheers, :)

I know it'll be hard as there is no texture or buildings in the shot, but can anyone tell me what this scene depicks? I understand already that I have a engine of the wrong class next to 13 but I dont have a green 23! :hehe: (Hint)
I shall give the answer later tonight! Have fun guessing!! :D
