Australian screenshots

hi can some please help me with posting screen shots:)

Hello Kane,

I use photobucket http://photobucket.com/ to store pictures and use the image tag to show them in forum posts. But there is many free image hosting sites on the net you can use.

Photobucket, uploads my pics to its server and I can browse and choose what pics images tags i want to use in a post and copy & paste the image code into your forum post and it should show up. Just make sure your images are jpeg to save slower connection members no grief from loading the post :)

Cheers

Trent

Hi nicke,

Bill.
The Laidley Station is first class. Would really appreciate it if you would consider releasing as seperate platforms. Can use the main platform & bulding as a single track ststion.

I use a lot of your items - and appreciate your efforts. Thank you.
Cheers
Nick E

is this the sort of thing you are looking for?

Some from me, the railway people are planning to restore a massive yard full of vintage carriages and rolling stock:

Not finished texturing the map yet, but will eventually :)

Something I just finished working on.

G'day kane98,

No problems mate, we've all 'been there done that' so your not the odd one out. Here's what I hope your trying to achieve...
trainz2009-05-2316-53-20-17.jpg

What you need to do is copy the 'direct link' in which Imageshack should show in one of the boxes after you upload it and then when you post here, click the 'Insert Image' button (yellow background with some hills and a sun, next to the 'Quote' and 'Insert Email link' buttons and then paste the link. See how you go next time ;)

Cheers,
Tom :)

P.S. Nice pic by the way, as are everyone elses! :)

taggy, try hitting "F5" before taking a screenshot - that gets rid of all the controls so we can just see the train and the scenery. Wonderful scenery in your last couple of shots mate, seems you're a natural.

Nice Screenshots guy's. I like taggy's shots the best ;) ....but there are nice WIP shots too.

Cheers guys, you are very kind. I've had a lot of inspiration from the you experienced trainzers! I have finished the track laying and am half way through the placing of objects, textures and scenery. There are 5 stations
starting with:

Clarendon (Museum Home)
Red Plain Siding
Gum Tree Flat
Slacky Flats
Bluetongue Creek (Current end of line)

I hit a block in the imaginary department so I used the base model of Jacarander Flats (Slacky Flats) as part of my route. (Thanks to its creators for a fantastic module)

More screenies to come if you guys want to see them.

EDIT: Thanks for the tip Raichase, here's one without the controls!

Today saw V529 haul an up mixed from Strzelecki to Dandenong (service was extended from Koo-Wee-Rup due to a derailment on the down side of Koo-Wee-Rup). I was able to photograph is between Dalmore and Tooradin...

Bill - wow! the platform view of Laidley station makes me even more grateful that you will release it as a single platform unit. Thank you.
Thank you also for the walk overs - they are so realistic.

While I'm here - there's something else that's been intriguing me for a while:
there isn't a texture of the right ground colour for us Aussies to lay track on.
For several weeks I've looked at screenies and it seems no one has found the right texture - a finely textured dirt colour that would look good as the track path for main and branch lines in Australia.
Am I right ?
I've been using the FMA banks and track bed in some places - but they don't have a texture to compliment the track bed colour, which is also a pity.

Love your screenies everyone. Some wonderful work being done.
All the best.
Nick E
