Hi all,

I was informed by DeanT that an asset I recently uploaded seems to have a texture problem, I don't know what happened but I have checked it and re-exported it and re-uploaded the trailer with a kuid 2 to over ride the previous version.

This is the trailer in question.

The new kuid will be 2:97008:29423:2

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

A thread has been placed in the Freeware threads.

Cheers,

Bill.

I realise this is the screenshots thread but I would like to ask a quick question of the modeller brains here. What would be the best program to model content for Trainz? I have a friend at work I've found out has Trainz 06 and he is great with computers and he was asking me about modelling ( I have been on the forums and such longer than he; he's only recently registered his copy so is just getting into the "wider" Trainz experience ) and I'd love to see what he could turn out.
Thanks guys
Glen

Any that are downloadable are a bonus.

Where else would I take him Dredd? I actually said that to him the other night when we were talking. After that conversation I am MORE convinced than EVER he needs to get to one of our meets. He would be such an asset to the group. Pretty sure he already has a few ideas on what he wants to model. With the great group that we have I know he would be warmly welcomed. Didn't take me long to feel at home. Anyway, this is my second waffle post so...

7MG1 2114 long end leading comes into the Preston mainline with a rake of flat wagons on the local General Goods shunt.
And I hope to get there soon too Dredd. Want to see you guys again.

some action in the railyards

Today in the yard, 3830 is getting prepared for a heritage tour train, while a busy day awaits. Trackwork is taking place to try and fix a loose sleeper, While some locos sleep in the sheds.

And an old scrapped loco sits in the open yard, next to a big rake of rusty oil cars, which are in the process of being restored and repainted:

Hi folks, got a few reskins to show off. I've always been one to do fictional repaints, just to see how they'd look. I find it an interesting excersize, dare to be different.

I've done a PN BL class to the best of my ability. I'm unable to extend the yellow over the cab and roof due to the way the BLs are mapped. I'd like to thank Rob Shaw for allowing me to upload these to the DLS.

EDI Downer recently released the the LDP class for hiring by the rail companies of Australia. I did a BL class in an EDI livery, just called the EDI class....

Finally, something right out of left field. Just to be different, a PN liveried GP9.:hehe: Called it the 50 class...

Stay tuned, who knows what else I'll try.:p

Nice work Col!:D Maybe you could have a go at doing the BL in PN's Rural & Bulk paint scheme as well (The scheme with the big FreightCorp style numbering on the sides). Or maybe have a crack at doing the QR National livered G class! ;)

Anyway keep up the good work!

Matt
