Hi David,

No it's(load animation) way to complicated for me. I will have to find an unsuspecting victim to help me;)

Ahh, well if you want, I'll take a look at it for you or I can see if I have an example I can send you.

@Axe and Burntruss - Those look like my desktop

Cheers

Pete its the basic shape of the hopper is the problem
you could never empty it properly
my suggestion is ..like I said a couple of pages back
as the load anim rises from the lowest point possible without sticking outside the wagon start some sliding planes comming out keyed in sinc with the upward anim............thus the load expands .... I suggest 100 frames and a lot of Mucking around but possible but never empty unless the anim jump from below "" to lowest level is quick and masked by lots of DUST!..........

Steam On The Muarry

Hello All

I am putting a notice up for anyone with talent with GMAX to create a Australian Murray River Steamer & I am offering assistance for information. Because it brings back many fond memories of the old PORT OF MORGAN in 1965 when one old Murray steamer called The Oscar W use to come for day trips and because i was born in South Australia. This will take me back to my childhood and my love for my native state.
(Please note that I also love Queensland, The Same As South Australia)

Nice Shots Ghosty, Keep Up The Good Work And Thanks For The Advice for Southport because this really got me going and now i am up to Ernest Junction

See You All Next Time

Bye

Davido: I'm still wrapped with the Karuah rails, find me a set of metal on sticks that blends in this well with it's surroundings!!!

http://img18.imageshack.us/my.php?image=greatblend.jpg

I dug up my old Highland Valley 2004 MASSIVE AUSSIE rebuild and replaced all the rails. Another of a million routes going at once. (It's so easy to lose interest in a certain route when you spend your whole day off uni on it - unless you have Davido's rails! :P )

Wow, just... wow. Is the yard based on anywhere specifically, or fictional?

Fictional. Hopefully it will appear prototypical to alot of Aussie main and Branch lines. I like building networks that need industries to survive.

Hopefully it serves this purpose. :)

David, can't wait to run more of your stock on the route :)

Peter, I think its the sky colour and time of day that affects the lighting.
You have a PM.

Cheers

Trainz89, its funny you mention the Oscar W, I am currently building Goolwa - Victor Harbor and have built a basic version of the Oscar W, I can re-texture it and get it up to scratch if you want a decent one, however fo me it was just going to be sitting in the dock so you could see a paddle steamer as you went past on the Cockle Train.

This is the basic one:

I thought to myself "whats Axe tryig to do? Oh he is going to put a trainz picture duplicating the scene."
However as I was about to scroll down I noticed the rail heads were rusty and I looked again!!!!!!
noticed the frog (lack of) and the crappy dwarf :hehe:
Damn thats a fine effect! :D
If you had used the Natvander rail I would have been sucked in hook, line and sinker!!
Well done
Cheers

Hello All
Its me again Mr Nuisance!! :hehe:

There has been so much nice stuff here in the last few hours, that I guess you must have missed this little bit (And it is in the wrong forum too)
However I was hoping that some of you 3D people with your re-wired brains had read Wylies blog ??

Well you have not posted there? :D And it is evident after being 2 years away that our good friend Wylie needs an update and some help with his texturing.
And I am really g_max dumb, however I can see that their are better ways than Wylie is trying to do.
I suspect my good trainzer friend is a bit of a loner, however a few minutes updating him into 2009 might be a saving for his sanity?
Welcome back Wylie!!

Cheers
Rod
