Merry Christmas - 2008...

As I've done for the last 4 years, ZecRail is again proud to announce this year's Christmas locomotive. This year, ZecRail has used one of their T class locomotives, decked out in 481 lights, with custom headboards, and red number boards, and renumbered to Tc2512...

Today saw the first non testing run of the locomotive, on a return goods working...

In 30C heat, Tc2512 coasts into Dhura Oon with a down goods, with Ts2009 assisting.

After a pause at Dhura Oon, Tc2512 roars over the skeleton track at the bridge on the down side of Dhura Oon.

Now on the return journey, Tc2512 coasts into Dhura Oon on the up.

Whilst waiting for a down passenger service, Tc2512 bathes in the moonlight.

Zec, Can I just say how f*$&en fantastic those shots look. They look SOO good, I don't know what it is, maybe the res of the images. Anyway, keep it up.

I thought I'd post a couple of shots.

Whistle is blown to give a friendly greeting and a warning that if you don't move, I'll chop off your legs. (Fassifern)

AND, this has to be one of my favourite shots of all time. I love this eery mood it creates.. I don't know what you'll think but I rekon its cool haha

3830, some fantastic shots as always. Good to see that the 620 will eventually be available in Candy too! I too love that last shot, the fog really sets the mood nicely, often a clear day in a sim reveals that it is still, just a sim. A good dash of atmosphere fixes that nicely

Given CWS are no longer making models I think it may be a while before such a model is released unfortunately. Happy to be proved wrong however.

Just gotta add some more lights and it shall be released from Tom's Workshops Unfortunately I haven't had time to make either a Santa or Christmas tree 'load' so this one will have to run empty (Unless someone would kindly be able to find me these loads, which would be very much appreciated ).

For Christmas this year, a T Class from Zecrail Workshops was painted into the normal Christmas scheme, as well as a new addition from Tom's Workshop, being an IT Timber Wagon (Which in theory, had made visits to Zecrail and Victrainz Workshops).

It's Christmas Eve, and here we see Tc2512 with a special Christmas train pass over the Mitchell River bridge on it's way to Bairnsdale...

Passing the Bairnsdale Cement Factory...

Up early on Christmas day, we see the train making it's return trip towards Orbost..

Seen again, passing one of the many farms..

Hopefully will have the IT Wagon ready soon guys :wave:

Hmm, CWS are no longer making or releasing models? That's a real shame, Davido and natvander always made the top quality stuff.

Could you let us know what the problem was? I am having a problem with Running numbers in 2009. It seems to be a bit flakey.
