Was informed that there would be a transfer train down to ZR's workshop at Karrah Bay, to be hauled by S301. So I went down there to see if I could grab a few photos of it...

Apparently ZecRail has been tasked with working on a large number of Spirit of Progress cars, in conjunction with another member of VicTrainz, which ZecRail is a part of.

A checking station is on the drawingboard and the "plain" truck is an old one of Boweavel 41426:27015 it seems to have a texture issue in 06.

I might have to make some myself.

Once I update it a little, sure. The actual workshops (just a row of sheds at the moment) are at the southern end of Wadalbavale. Thats just a single road shed, that gets only a small amount of use...

Fernleigh loop had an up and down loop as well as the main line. i followed a map from the Book Adamstown via Fernleigh.

I gave train spotting up for a while and starting learning the ropes for driving.
But when I herd there will be a double header of 2 steam locos I couldn't resist to hop in the car and take a few piccies and here they are :

For something lighhearted heard a series of trial railcars were to run over the Belmont line i managed to catch these.


Belmont Bound Service halts at Kahibah

Hamilton Bound service halts at Whitebridge

After spending two days gettings TRS06 back up and running, I went and grabbed a few pics of a pair of T class' on a holiday special

T377 sits with T320 at Wattle Creek with the down Holiday Special service.

After departing Wattle Creek, the train is seen coasting towards Grevillia Junction.

For the last shot of the day, the T377 sits with T320 at Mrynong for a quick stop before heading onwards to Wadalbavale.

Has a mix of BG, SG, and NG (2ft6in) gauge track.
