A 620/720 set was transferred to Victoria for some testing on the Broad Gauge. I managed to get some shots:

Has anybody tried in Cab Mode the Cab Light switch, the fan switch and the Wipers Switch? If you haven't then I would get in Trainz and have a look :D. A lot (Thats a lot) of hard work has been put into this model and I can't wait to see whats next.

Great work CWS. Making Trainz look real. :)

Cheers,
Tom :)

Bloody typical of Davido/Natvander! They don't do anything in half measures - even if 90% of the Trainz population might not notice it, they will know that the windscreen wipers actually work, and that's all that matters. I look forward to downloading these tomorrow and having a bit of a play.

The screenies posted so far show us exactly how much work has gone into them, and how it has paid off. Wait was worth it.

Also rating a mention would be Tom's T Class in the Pac Nat colours - great looking skin. I wonder if you're going to try your hand at a CFCLA livery next? Look forward to getting my paws on the PN version :D

Tom has done a great job on the reskin!! :)

thats a great model above, ill have to check it out.. if only davido & natvander would have a go at some suburban trains, wether sydney or melbourne.. or both! lol!!:)

Oh, Tom, i did get your pm- i have registered over at victrainz but havent received the email yet... :o

Nice pics guys keep em coming!!

That's why you plonk a filthy dirty 48'er up the front and roar through the country-side on a transfer train from Bathurst EDI with the Milleniums after they had their under-carriage painted.:p

Great to see that it was worth the month of waiting to upload :hehe:. The model also had the A/C added and full length handrails added (Compare it to the V/Line model ;)). Peter C (ad602000) put a lot of time into it as well (Gmax is easier than it looks but still hard! :p). Hopefully some more re-skins and models to come :)

Cheers,
Tom :)

620/720 Rail Motor: I, what an awful colour - I meant the CityRail "colour", not the model itself! Oh, why oh why did RailFlop, I mean RailCorp have to choose such an awful colour for them! :o

PS-1: Oh great it's for TRS2006 only :'( :'(

PS-2: I find it "interesting" that some people have enough time to post (at the moment) on several enthusiasts sites after claiming XYZ, yet doesn't seem to have enough time to . . .

Some excellent content out in the last couple of days!

Cardiff Workshops, Is it just me or does the quality of your content just get better and better? Fantastic work on the 620/720 railcars! I can now really enjoy them again after they were taken out of service not too long ago. Keep up the excellent work! :D

Tom, The PN reskins of the T class are bloody awesome! Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see a CFCLA livered T now :D .

Glad you like them.

Thanks everyone, glad you like the CityRail 620/720.
I was worried about the amount of dependencies with the cab, but it looks
like it all worked

Certainly did :p

Thank you David.
I am into model railways too. I modeled D&RGW up until recently but now I am strictly VR.
I said strictly, but that was until all this lovely stuff arrived over the last few years from you and the people from Cardiff Workshops.
Now its easy to model Victorian and NSW and QR etc in Trainz.
But it is very expensive to try and do it in HO
However because you guys taught me to appreciate this stuff from North of the Murray, I now own a Garrat (well one did tour down from Albury as far as Wangaratta!!) But how do I explain the 620 / 720 Railcars I purchased early this year?? :o
But thank you for making this terrific model. It looks as pretty as the Eureka model, and sounds better... Oh and I was always poor, now I am broke too!
Cheers
Rod
