Goodnight guys :) I'm pooped after all that excitement...

Ausrail.

Brainstrust
on are installed and show no faults.
I cant delete these white lines nor does "Delete Missing Assets doesn't work either. I want to replace said platforms but can't while the ghosts of the old ones are still there.
Anyone got any ideas of how to get rid of them?

Hi Aaron

I remember some time ago when I looked at your route I noticed you had used a number of different platforms.

Maybe one got corrupted.

If you've got the cdp files saved, then try deleting the assets from your content manager, then reinstall them.

Then do a database rebuild.

Good luck mate,
Cheers Roy

I've been working on another Circular Quay wharf for my new route, but this one is in the 1950s era. Over the years, the image of the wharves have changed several times.

Hey Roy,

What era are you building to your route too? Reason why I'm asking is if your route is 70's or early 80's you might be interested in this, I just hope I have the blue right.

Downloaded Graeme's route and this shot is just on the outskirts of Junee if anyone is wondering on location.

Cheers.

Hey Roy

Yeah thanks mate, I had tried the old tricks and nothing worked. I had to reinstall TANE Yesterday and after re downloading said platform and loading the route, it still showed this.
I wonder if the route itself is corrupted, something I don't want to think about. That would mean starting again for the 6th time.

Nice shots Ausrail. You've done a great job making Dandenong look like, well, Dandenong.
Roy, your Tram depot looks awesome, can't wait to see it on your route.
Stefan, those sparks will be great running around Jamies route eventually.
Azza, the colour looks almost spot on for a new one, most of the flatties of that colour I saw were faded or filthy. Hope you're enjoying a run on the north east.
Taggy, those platforms have given me no end of trouble on your route. Just thought to try disabling the built-in missing spline asset and then install the route. I still think the main trouble with the route is caused by SP2 and all its faults. I read through the fix list in the last 2 beta patch notes and over a dozen of the fixes relate to problems on your route and not surprisingly, even more on mine.
Just finishing off Rushworth before I post some more shots, I haven't built 20kms in a week since my north east route was finished. It feels good.
cheers
Graeme

Hi Aaron,

I've still got a copy of that initial Cityrail layout with your platforms and they are intact on my computer - no errors showing up at all.

It shows the small amount of detailing I did, so if you like I could email either the route or the cdps of each of the platforms to you.

Hey, I don't suppose you may have used someone else's platforms mate - that would certainly make it faulty. lol

Cheers,
Roy

My new route will be the 1955-1960 era of the Sydney CBD. I'll be using NSWGR electric passenger trains of that time period, a couple of diesels, trams and ferries just as I did with my previous route.

However this time I'll focus more on various tram lines that feed the ferry wharves.

Unfortunately, goods transport is rarely seen around the CBD; (even if it is blue) thanks anyway!

Cheers,
Roy

Roy

Thanks but I use the same platforms all the time. (Deadly's fantastic NSW platforms)
They work fine in the fictional route (the one you worked on) but the prototypical route of the South Coast just refuses to play ball.
Perhaps its me being impatient but i was curious if anyone else had these problems and knew of a fix. After reading Graeme's post, I feel a little better that the new fix might bring them back from the dead along with the missing trackwork.
Drives me insane, I just want to work on my map but I won't do anymore to watch it disappear into TANE's abyss.

Roy, the catenary I am using is available on the DS.
I think it is called 'Vic Cat' something. It is a pack of 3 different types, of varying track spans.
They are almost PERFECT for use in Dandenong yard. I will have to make a few custom stanchions for Dandenong Platform 2/3 ... but overall, a fantastic catenary set! Can't remember the author.

Great news, thanks Ausrail. I will start on the the groundwork for placement of Dandenong Station. It will make a huge difference to a station on my route.
Thank you (in advance).
Cheers

No worries Nick. The station is modular, in about 9 parts, so you can 'customise' it a little to suit your route :)
I'll post some screenies of some other goodies soon to be released ;)

Hey all,

A South Australian Railway's FQX is almost finished,

Just got handbrake details to go such as Chains, not sure if I should alpha them or 3d mesh'em, after that just need to solve the *set me up* script for container brackets and stanchions :)

Cheers.

Great model mate. The attention to detail is important. Stick with it.
