Great screenshots everyone.
Gosh it's been quiet around here lately. I guess we've all got things to do.
I've been thinking about this for nearly a year and not put a baseboard down to get it started. The best times I had were when I was young.
I've always loved the 1950-1960 era in Sydney, a time when things were changing. The Cahill Expressway was built, the City Circle was just completed with Circular Quay Station construcyed, we still had Sydney Trams that terminated at Wynyard and 'Red Rattlers' with no air-conditioning, Sydney ferries were always running, the AMP building and Opera House had not yet been built, the Sydney skyline had some tall buildings but no skyscrapers.
I've made a start - Goodness knows when I finish it.
A new day dawning in "Sydney - 1960"
Some demolished buildings need restoring,.. the 'First & Last Hotel' as well as the 'Farmers & Graziers' building where the AMP stands today.
The museums are open and I've borrowed some 'Red Rattlers' and 'Sydney Trams' - The sixties are back!
Cheers,
Roy
