Australian screenshots

There's something nice about the Countrylink XPT. I don't know whether it's the comfort of the seats when you are travelling, the excitement of where you are going, the friendliness of the railway staff or the simplicity of railway food. Maybe it's none of those, I just like the 'look' of it when it pulls back into Central.

I'm patient but, I cant wait to see any newer versions hit the tracks.
Back to the grind.
Cheers,
Roy

Blue Mountains Line v2 doing well on DLS and no complaints, so far. Quite pleased seeing as it was my first and knowing there are flaws in the construct. Now working on a UK route on the south coast which includes the Brighton terminal. Whilst this thread is for Australian screenshots I would ask if posting extracts from the UK route is acceptable here, or not? Some here may actually have an interest in UK route creation.

Cheers,
Val.

I am trying to recreate the Tasmanian rail roads with the small towns etc.
This was started in 2010, this upgraded to 2012 and now Tane. Is there anyone else in Tasmania doing trainz?
I was in Melbourne and was doing the Frankston to stony point then tane started.
I am now back in Tasmania and have got most of my work from 2010 and 2012 into tane some needs more work.
I stopped for a while as tane was changing all the time, and now I am only on Skymuster satellite. I have started to work on the layout again.

VL352-X54-X53-RL304 get ready to depart Culcairn with a loaded SSR grain in late afternoon light after crossing a PacNat MS service. X53 and X54 have recently been refurbished back to service after being acquired by Aurizon, however are yet to be fitted with ICE radios.

I've always had an interest in the history of Tasmania, mainly because my ancestors came from Hobart. However as yet, I've not extended that to creating any layouts of the area.

Some time ago, I did download pware's TS12 route "Tasmania\'s Fingal Line TS12 - Layout",<kuid2:45176:100002:1> which included a session "History Tour".

You may get additional ideas and information from the html files he had included for your own route.

Put a few work-in-progress screenshots up on this thread; and it may draw out others who have an interest as well.

Cheers and good luck,
Roy
