The turntable is a mock up till I get around to building it, I've spent about 6 or 7 years on this route and it feels like I'm getting no where, was easy at first, till I decided the era wasn't early enough, then I settled to 1890's, lol.

Cheers.

Great shots Graeme. Is this route an extension of your VR Goulburn Murray Lines ?

I'm looking at the station in shot #1,... what model is that?

I like smart, elaborate old-style Aussie stations and one in particular that comes to mind, is Toowoomba. There is a good model of it by willem2 on the DLS <kuid2:97008:48551:1> StationQR Toowoomba

Cheers mate,

Thanks Roy, the signalbox is separate to the station, but yep Jamie got it right. This is my Seymour to Bethungra route, which hopefully will merge with a Bethungra to Illawarra mega route I merged up and also with my Goulburn Murray route at the other end at Mangalore which is one stop north of Seymour.
cheers
Graeme.

Wow !! That's going to be one huge route overall. Good luck mate.

That dress seems to be quite popular amongst the local sheela's, must have been on sale down at the women's department store :hehe:
Almost got it right. In the "sticks" (undeveloped country anywhere outside Melbourne) in the late 1800s the local seamstress took orders for dresses from pattern books then bought just enough material to make them and a tidy profit as well. It's how my grandmother got her start and eventually finished with a large general store in Wilmington S.Aust.
Must have been pretty liberal down Geelong way as they're showing a lot of leg, in polite circles in Melbourne they would be considered nearly naked :D .
