A leased NSW 81 Class leads a freight through Hunter platform 3. Yes, this is on the RBR. I updated the track for my own personal use.

The funny thing is that, while the 81 Class featured prominently in Trainz promotional material back in the day, it seems to have been all but forgotten. Though, it is quite old content, but it is still good.

Wish me luck.

@Steve123;

May I PM you, as you seem to have a firm grasp on sketch up to trainz, and helped Roy with the Sydney Opera House. As I would not mind, if willing to assist with my QR City Train project.

Great work everyone.

Sydney Harbour

I'm just trying out a few variations on the T:ANE sliders.

A little more detailing done today, (in fact there were about 30 things I scrapped today and started again) ... now it's time for a train-ride to see how it looks.

Roy/Graeme,

fellas, the progress shots are just brilliant. What a brilliant browse after a short absence, I'm loving this.
If either of you would like a route thoroughly tested, I'm more than happy to put a fine tooth combe through it.
Whack me a pm if you'd like me to. :)

Beautiful shots Roy, your scenes are superb. The lone yachtsman at dusk shot is one for the desktop wallpaper rotation. Sydney looks brilliant.
cheers

Very nice Roy,
As you said Roy putting the Sydney Harbour Bridge back on the edit table to correct any faults proved to be a very big job, so as far as the top arches are concerned they will remain as they are now.

One thing i did find out was when rendering big assets the first RubyTMix Exporter 1.0 created by ModelerMJ was more stable than the 1.1.0 version using Sketchup pro 8.
If i edit the SHB i always did it using Sketchup Pro 8 with RubyTMix 1.0 installed.

RubyTMix 1.1.0 allows you to create Splines where as RubyTMix 1.0 doesn't,[ Remember this when installing]

If you are having trouble installing Sketchup or RubyTMix then go back to Sketchup 8 and install RubyTMix 1.1.0 for smaller projects than the SHB assets
Regards steve

Thanks for the information Steve, I'll take it all on board. However, as I mentioned previously, this is all totally new to me, so I have no intention to modify or change any assets that are currently in use.

If models are readily available, then I'll use them. If not, then I'll have to compromise and make do.

By the way, I made identical changes to the settings of my NVidia Driver and found the frame rates dropped slightly, but video imaging seemed much smoother. It's worth playing around with that if I want to get good video. Thanks again.

Here's another screenshot with those settings.

The water colour is closer to where I'm heading. I've done scuba diving around Sydney Harbour in my younger years and on a good day, you're lucky to get 3-4 feet visibility.
Cheers,
Roy
