Australian screenshots

Stan
Thanks there are a number of images that will be of use, i have copied them down for use later when i am not online.
Regarding How far i am going with my map, it cuts off just before Maud st just before Kotara on the southern and at the entry to Port waratah. I have a few more days work on the maps to do then i am switching back to another old project that needs updating. At the moment i have a couple of items of content for the Belmont line map that i need to get built and util they are done there wont be much more i can do with Belmont Map.

Question do you want the landscape around the buildings?? it is up to you. it is not hard for me to remove it if you don't want the landscape.

A little more detailing done today, (in fact there were about 30 things I scrapped today and started again) ... now it's time for a train-ride to see how it looks.

G'day Roy. Absolutely loving the screenshots, but I feel like these roads definitely need the flick. Have a look at Paulzmay's motorway kit on the DLS. UK Mway. Has a massive road kit as well.

Jamie@: Thanks for the comment mate. I'm not happy with the road either. But what I am looking for, is one way traffic per lane, (not dual) and with four lanes running side by side in both directions. I've also got to contend with image dropout, which means laying a base asphalt spline beneath the roadway.
I've looked at Paulzmay's motorway varieties, but I didn't see any one way traffic. Any suggestions?

Cheers,
Roy

Roy, at the end of every road in trainz at the end you don't want traffic to spawn from, preferably away from the rail, make a little junction with an invisible road to the left. All traffic spawned from that end will head down that invis road and disappear.

Jamie

Bloody hell Steve! You work quickly mate, can I give my list now?? lol ;)

RubyTMIX makes it ridiculously easy to install 3D warehouse stuff, there'd be 50 or 60 pieces of content on my Geelong Line that I have imported.
Reducing the polys is what takes longer, lol

G'day All
Been some great shots lately, keep up the great work everyone.

Great shots Graeme. Your route is looking fantastic.

I was about to merge my City Circle stations to Sydney Central, when I happened to notice the catenary just wasn't positioned right. I've always had problems 'sighting' the wire, so I found that by positioning a temporary concrete wall alongside the track, it is much easier to pick the high points, in order to place the gantry. What was taking me days to do this task, I can complete it so much faster now.
On elevated track I have used the HUGE wall instead.

Steve
ok, sounds good. I'll PM you about it. :)

Roy
im a stickler for overhead being done properly on my routes. lol
i find turning the transparent grid on shows the wires up so you place them correctly.

@Steve,

Thank you very kindly, for the buildings. I have downloaded the missing one, but there is plenty more on google earth that is not available on 3D Warehouse, including Brisbane City Hall, Law Courts, Roma Street Railway & Transit Centre & Roma Street Police Headquarters. I got permission from the original author to use them. I got the files for these.

All the best.
